Looks like here the luxury wing of the vault was supposed to connect with the poor wing (which was not finished) - as written in overseer's instructions, those poor low class vault inhabitants shoul be first led through luxury wing for the purpose of the test. But as funding was stopped i guess Ezra Parker just let the entrance covered from the luxury side.
I knew that while playing this mission too but I never thought they actually built the section just for e lore's sake just to be closed off, why would they do that?
@@danielepicone2557 that area can be acessed, tho there's nothing to do there as devs who design the areas aren't exactly the same who design the lore and quests. Whoever designed the vault most likely just had the overview of what kind of vault it would be (poor wing vs rich wing). Besides it's normal for Bethesda to just leave unused areas in the game, as well as cells for testing, etc... they are just that lazy.
It's likely that the developers intended for the level to be larger than what it ended up being. They probably ran out of time and instead of removing everything that had to be cut from release, they just blocked it off with some stuff instead. It's faster and easier to do. Another example of this is the Museum Of Freedom in Concorde; It was supposed to be bigger than what it is, so there's an additional unfinished part of the level that they blocked off by putting a wall there instead. You can noclip in there just fine, and there's actually some loot laying around as well.
Interesting enough I was kind of wondering what was back there. I threw grenades over the cracks and they blow up on the other side.I plan on Xbox 1 so I don't think you could do that
I got that door key off of ezras body and was so dissapointed that there wasn't anything there but blight they couldve at least left a power armor their

@@danielepicone2557 It's not closed off. You can enter through a door on the left, just passed security, when entering the vault.

Really where is the blocked off area in the museum of freedom?
@@the_explorer4600 You know the door that is being held ajar by a roll of tape? That wall.
What was the point of getting the key to unlock that part of the vault if there is a dead end
Exactly!!
I was always curious about that reactor. You got me btw actually thought it was a secret room 🤣

You plan the detonations of grenades on Xbox 1?

Awesome find! You could use Mobile Workshop to knock out that wall & then turn it into a great Conquest settlement 😄
Huh... well that sucks
But thank you so much for ending my curiosity 😄
THANK YOUU!!
you can get there by going through doors..
Да уж, и что? Всё видео показывает шов
I respect it. Why ppl butthurting?
What? Where's this Vault never seen it.
Under Cliff's Edge Hotel. It's part of the Far Harbor DLC. There's a quest where a Nanny bot brings you there from Far Harbor.
It's part of a really fun murder mystery side quest!
Wait... where is this? On the map?
its in far harbor vault 118
a big disappointment for me 😅

I'm more freaked out by the fact we both discovered that with MACCREADY.. ooOoOoooOOOooooO
