If you didn’t live in a big city, you only knew the name from compilations, & they were hard to find before the internet in North Carolina. I think most general American punks would have connected the Oi!/skin look with hardcore instead of its own thing until 97-99. That was the great Renaissance of streetpunk/Oi! that hooked me. Feels like just yesterday until I see these & realize how long ago it was! Cheers!
