The thing I love about the german language is that not once when taking notes did I have to look at the screen, I could just spell with the way the word sounds instead of english where you have to guess/memorize
videos like this very important for memorizing verbs . Could you make more videos like this , I mean more verbs , and also nouns , adjective. thank you very much.
8:16 pick up -> abnehmen. This is not correct. It's not a general translation, abnehmen is only applicable as "pick up" when you "pick up the phone". A better translation would be "aufheben" or "abholen". Even plain "nehmen" would be better. I used the English and the German Wiktionary to check this.
English utilizes many German Worden und phrases...weinen...whinny...whinger... a snide comment...sneiden...wasser... water...kranky...krakenhaus...krebs... cancer...many others...used casually in english speaking...sprechen
this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. This one allows me to practice and examine myself along with the video. All other videos are reversed - first german, then english word - which is useles for me.

15:15 "Arbeit" is a noun, not a verb, as opposed to "arbeiten". This video seems to have been rushed. There are repetitions of the same verbs, such as "machen", for both "do" and "make", when it should be "tun" and "machen".

@@mariflorvlog8917 I know German verbs aren't given genders based on anything other than the word itself i.e. -chen words (almost always) being 'das' words BUT when learning the word, think up a really strong mental image of the word and craft the gender into it. For example: The cat (Die Katze) has a heart-and-star pink collar and drinks (Die Milch) milk from a flowery saucer given to her by a sweet (Die Frau) woman - my strong mental image (excuse the gender-coding). It's called "Interacting Images", a psychological technique. It's very powerful, and now I can't think about either Die Katze/Milch/Frau without also knowing they're 'Die' words. Would love to know how you got on in your examination, I realise this tip might come a little late.
Never say it is hard to learn german, or any other language for that matter, rather say, german is easy and it comes natural and easy for me, say and think this always and see the results in short and long term. I know what I am talking about, I speak nine languages and still learning others.

Why is to think "nachdenken"? I've only heard people in Germany say it "denken" when unconjugated.
Its more to think over something. nach-after denken-thinking
