You'll see many movies and scenarios that show some sort of doomsday scenario. Many scenes depict vehicles. Often what isn't shown is that pretty much all of them won't run after a few months.
Here I will go step by step to show you the four most basic things you will need in a vehicle to make sure you and your loved ones are able to move and travel safely when the most basic of things are no longer readily available.
And, why I think the Classic Diesel Land Rover Defender tics all four boxes.

You should also consider a ‘85 - ‘93 Toyota 70 series MWB with the 13bt engine.
They aren’t offered to American markets but are easily available everywhere else in the world.

Definitely agree. Definitely weren’t available in the US. I’d love to import a Bandeirante (a 4 door pickup like a Defender 130). Those diesels are bulletproof. I made a quick mention of them at the end of the video, but you’re absolutely right.

TD5’s have barely become eligible for import to the US. Can’t wait to get my hands on one.
