I want to make a detailed video on the different aim techniques but I will try to explain it here. First linear, So linear is just a one to one sens so if you tilt the thumb stick at 25% you turn at 25% speed, it's 1-1 all the way through. Next Dual zone, so like the name implies is creates two zone, where in the first zone it allows you to move quickly and the second zone allows for slower but more precise movements giving the best of both worlds (IMO). And Lastly Exponential, so just like the Exponential graph that you probably learned in school. it creates a curved ramp basically at first your aim starts off slow and as you move more outward the faster your sens becomes. Sorry for the brain dump but this topic it kinda complicated so hopefully I explained in a way that made sense
@@NateSuxAtThis Thank you so much just subscribed lol i will definitely be watching that video if no when it comes out tho i think i understand the basics i think ill need to test it out in practice range to see which one i really like but thanks again
Aim Assist Window size is a very important setting. It pretty much defines how you play. Make it 10%, you will suck at first, you will miss everything but if you stick with it and master it you get insane aim. Imm GM4 and every 3rd game people call me out for using mouse and keyboard even tho I have normal ps4 controller. Trust me it helps

Woooooah, I was searching a video like this for months. Thank you very much. The case with me is that when I track an enemy I track the space around him not the enemy itself, so, thanks to your vid, I can try to minimize the window. Thank you. New sub :D
As a grandmaster myself, I personally think that aim smoothing should be as high as possible because it smooths ur aim and makes it more fluid. Rather than a low aim smoothing which I think makes my aim choppy and unnatural. Anyways this was a great video man keep it up 😊
I can agree with that, but I do think that characters like Tracer and Genji probably need that faster input but at the end of the day it all just comes down to personal preference. Thanks for the feedback
my aim smoothing was at 100% thank you so much, 30% is so much better for lucio. No wonder I aimed way better whenever I played ow2 at my friends house on his account/xbox

I know that settings should be personalized for each player, and also sometimes for each character as they are all different, but what settings would you suggest for Ball? I just picked him up and he’s a lot of fun. However I’m having a hard time with movement since I play on controller. I’d say at least 80% of playing Ball is all about movement, quick turns, and pin point accuracy for effective grapples headshots etc. Great video btw, any tips will help.
And if you're playing ball, you will definitely want a higher sensitivity, so if I was just gonna throw a sense, I would do 75-100 horizontal and vertical sense 100% aim assist Strength, 75 aim assist window size, aim assist legacy OFF, aim assist ease in 20, aim smoothig 95 ( 95 if you're used to aim smoothing 100 but should definitely lower aim smoothing if you would like a faster sense even if it might take getting used too), Aim Ease in 0. Hope this helps
Just know that you should feel free to change any setting and that I have no idea what sensitivity preferences you have. I am sorry if the sense doesn't fit your playstyle, but I really hope this helps.
When you turn legacy aim mode on does it turn the other setting off? Im just confused on using legacy with the advance aim options as wont those change what legacy mode does? Also what settings do you recommend for legacy mode on? Great video G subbed
What settings would you recommend for different heroes? You’re not gonna use the same settings for Hanzo than you would Genji, same with Ana versus Kiriko. Just curious about your recommendations.
I only use one sens for all of the heroes, which is kinda unusual, but at this point, I've almost been playing overwatch for almost 7 years, and I feel very comfortable with my sensitivity so I just use 1 sens. Plus, only using one sense also really helps with consistency whenever you switch characters very often. But everyone is different, and I definitely see the appel to having a custom sens for every character.
I play with values of 20 aim assist ease in on hitscan heroes such as cass and soldier and i have 60 aim assist ease in with heroes like junkrat torb. My regular sens is 80h70v 100aimsmoothing and 70 window size, do you recommend this setting or am i setting myself up for failure? I do tend to panic when being contested which is why i've lowered my sens. I think aim assist ease also helps with my panicked aim but i'm not sure.
No, your settings are almost exactly what I recommend to everyone who asks where to start when looking for a sens. If you feel comfortable on your sens and your killing stuff, there's absolutely no need to change to the quote on quote optimal sens. And btw I recently just changed my aim assist ease in to 20 too.
Aim assist ease in is really personally preference but I like it at 20. and all aim assist ease in does is instead of being given 100% of your aim assist immediately it add a little bit of a ramp up so if you want more if a ramp up then turn up aim assist ease in and if you would like you aim assist to given more Rapidly then lower it. Hope this helps

@itsali654 Less Aim ease in is definitely better, but Aim Assist ease in really doesn't matter too much .All that it does is instead of being given 100% of your aim assist immediately, it just adds a slightly ramp up to your aim assist And if I said that lower aim assist ease in it better than I just miss spooked.

Is it bad i have 40-50 aim ease in on dual zone it makes slight differences in my aim. Also i have lowered 99-95 aim smoothing and was wondering if that would be enough or should i keep going
No, it's not bad, but aim ease was made mainly for linear ramp but if you notice that aim ease in makes your aim better then I don't see way you would change it to the quote and quote "optimal" sens. The most important thing is using a sens that you feel the most comfortable on, and for your aim smoothig question, I would leave your aim smoothing where it is right now and if you like how the lower aim smoothing feel then you should think about lowering it some more. @gacha_hiro1428 If you want to try something that might help your aim stay on the enemy, try aim assist legacy mode ON and make aim assist ease in 20. One thing to keep in mind is that It might make your sens feel a bit slower, so if that happens, just turn down your aim smoothing down very slightly to compensate. And then just go into a Quick Play and try it out and keep in mind that it might take some time to get used to it but might make a big difference.

U sure it's not input lag? If so make sure you're playing on a monitor or a TV with low low input lag
My fps is cod, but I've tried tons of settings/vidoes but nothing really suits me

Can u give some settings for sigma?
@@NateSuxAtThiswould be awesome 😊
Ahhhh
So Cassidy should not run 100 percent or any at all aim assist ease in
You shouldn't put aim assist ease in at 100 but you can lower it if you feel like aim assist is too jarring but for most people I would keep it at 0. Hope this helps
If you have anymore question feel free to ask :)
Still waiting on that new vid settinfs
Uhhhh uhhhmmm uhhhhh

I need help landing ahots with genji. No matter how I practice I always miss my Shots. I can't find the right sens. I get easily overwhelmed even by supports, Please man I'm begging you. How do I track my enemies? Am i holding my controller wrong?🥲💀🙏
I would love to know what sensitivity you are playing at? because it might just be that your sense just isn't great for genji
@@NateSuxAtThis Normally I do High Horizontal and Low vertical. 100/50. So that I can keep track of jumping targets without the camrea going too high or too low.
@@NateSuxAtThis People always tell me to keep it at 0.
