I never realised how beautiful this track was until I listened to this. I completely overlooked it during my playthrough of the game. Absolutely breathtaking!
Yeah, it blew me away as well when I listened to the track on its own after a Silent Hill marathon back in '18. It's been my favourite song in the world ever since.

listening to this first time since last year. i just remembered how different my life was in 2020 from now. my mental health was the worst it could get. it was spring, always cold and snowing, and sun wouldn't even peek through the clouds. No one's outside in my neighborhood due to the lockdown. the world was looked dark, blue grayish to me. i was really anorexic, anxious, and diagnosed with depression. i used to think constantly about killing myself. i got to the point where i acknowledge the fact that my life wouldn't get better and everything in this world could never amaze me anymore. Also having no friends that could save me from my painful suffering contributed in my sadness. But now everything has changed suddenly. I started to feel different suddenly. i just can't believe i forgot about everything that happened to me last year. I can say i got better, so much better. the weird thing about having depression was the unique feelings that you can't describe. i miss them so much sometimes, the weird feelings, that made my life special, beautiful, dark, and pointless.
there is comfort in darkness. as someone who has dealed with heavy depressions myself, once you move on from it, it feels as if depression was a part of you and that you sort of need it back to be yourself. it's crazy
I'm going through a time like yours, albeit far less severe. Life just feels like it grinds to a halt, and all of a sudden, all of the optimism and light in the world, the adventure and the possibilities, they all come to a standstill. It's like the pain of boredom makes you unable to think about anything. I personally feel like I've lost control, not due to a person or thing, but rather like a bird stuck in a routine cage. Freedom is all I want, but what experience could possibly light the fire in me if it's eventually going to lose it's luster, it's unknown factor? I fear the known, hell, I fear knowing in the first place, because in the end that spells boredom and repetition. Winter tends to do that to me a lot, it's like the death and lack of growth stagnate me as a person. But in the end, those kinda of experiences can be optimal, IMO. They remind us of who we truly are by forcing us to separate ourselves from our egos. I am always thankful for my identity crises, because while they can be agonizing, they often allow for change and personal development by themselves.
Whatever happens next my friend, I hope you persevere. Great things always await for those with a keen eye for possibilities :)

People are so obsessed with money and luxury but when they truly get humbled they will learn to appreciate 20 minutes of this… this melody goes hand in hand with depression, on both sides even… the takeover, when there’s no more hope, nowhere to turn, and also, prevalence of that same depression.
It's that obsession with all the money and luxury and materials why they get depressed in the first place. Obsessed with all the wrong things basically.
This song here though, this is a place for the lost and hopeless if ever have I heard it expressed musically 😢.

It's my first time with chronic anxiety and chronic pain after a trauma. This type of music gives me a feeling that something its coming for everyone. Life has become kinda like a nightmare, but theres moments where time stops for a minute, and you can hear this melody in between that limbo
the answer to your question is rather simple, the average man barely gets any pussy, its aa simple as that.

Está versión me gusta más que las otras que son más rápidas y sin lluvia, también porque el sonido que interfiere en las versiones anteriores que parece estar fuera de la melodía se acopla mejor en esta versión y se siente como un drone (frecuencia grave resonante hablando en producción de sonido o música) que se complementa a la perfección con la composición instrumental.
