Myself (Dan Hendriksen PGA Pro), Lester Barnes (Scratch Handicap), Will Farley (Pro) and Lee Whittaker (13 Handicap) have been invited to play and stay at the wonderful Manor & Ashbury Hotels near Okehampton, Devon in South West England.
With 99 holes of golf, all on one site, the Ashbury is accredited as the ninth largest golf resort in the world. No other English golf course provides a better combination of stunning scenery and exceptional challenge than the acclaimed Ashbury Golf Resort. Located in the heart of one of the most captivating areas of the Southwest, the hotel delivers spectacular views of Dartmoor across the rolling Devon countryside towards Exmoor.
In this vlog we will be playing Beeches course which is a course that plays just under 6000 yards and is a par 68. Lester and Lee have decided to take on the Pro's Myself and Wilbur in a fourball better ball match play event.

“Should be alright!” Lester’s optimism is brilliant, how do you keep the camera from shaking when all this is going on around you, Wilber shouting “Timber” and laughing at the three path balls on the last hole one which bounced across the adjacent fairway and far away? Special award for bravery to Lester, for going where no one else would tread! Great entertainment, thank you all!

Great vid guys....love the way Lee gets drawn into the bomb ball contest with Will every time.....problem is he hasn't quite got the talent level of Wilber to keep it on the straight and narrow....makes for good viewing......doesn't help the handicap or confidence....

One fine day, John and Don are out golfing when John slices his ball deep into a wooded ravine. He grabs his 7-iron and proceeds down the embankment into the ravine in search of his ball.
The brush is quite thick, but he searches diligently and suddenly he spots something shiny. As he gets closer, he realizes that the shiny object is in fact a 7-iron in the hands of a skeleton lying near an old golf ball.
John excitedly calls out to his golfing partner: “Hey Don, come here. I’ve got some real trouble down here.”
Don comes running over to the edge of the ravine and calls out: “What’s the matter, John? Is everything okay?”
John shouts back in a nervous voice, “Throw me my 8-iron! You can’t get out of here with a seven!"

The hoodie debate is just ridiculous. Nobody’s business as long as clothes are presentable. Golfers need to stop being snobs. We need to grow the sport not restrict it over trivial stuff like collars on shirts. I love the game let’s just enjoy the game and sportsmanship.
