I think one difference from years past to this year is that in the past it felt like if the QB evaded our blitz, we were screwed. You don't see as much of that anymore.
Lions fan here once again, to put a stamp on what I said in November that the Ravens are going to the Superbowl. I love my pride but it's the Ravens year
Ronald Darby looks like a smaller version of Marlon Humphrey! He’s physical and a bit more athletic than most people would think. I wonder if he has the same opinions about macaroni and coffee that Marlon has! 😂😂😂
The largest play we gave up is Welles we decided not to rush on a 3rd and 13. I am 100% against playing “prevents” or “safes” or a flat cover-2 with no rotation. I feel in the NFL you must always have pressure on the QB because the receivers are too good and will always get open given enough time. When you don’t rush hard, first off you’re giving the receivers enough time to get down field, giving the QB more time to read out the play, changing the natural reaction time of the DB’s.. just a mess. Play your defense and let the offense try to beat it instead of being so worried someone is going to get behind a safety.
I am a texans fan. But man you cannot finesse your way through the playoffs. It was evident at the start the texans were no match simply because of how physically imposing the ravens are. Im not disappointed, they are the superbowl favorites for a reason
Their scheme is very predictable and simple. Kin of like the defensive scheme that we had with Wink (not stylistic) but in the sense of very reliant upon talent to win one on one matchups. Old school coaching in that “you know what we run and we know what we run, now try to stop it”. That works against lesser teams/qbs/offensive coaching but when you can’t put talent your opponent you are then in trouble.
@@xMajor24 he got mossed girl a big gain in the rams game multiple times and he gave up a bomb against the Steelers when he not playing when don't give up shit ....
They played lights out. Queen is so selfless. I love the way he plays.
I'm gonna miss these guys next year. Only a superbowl ring can ease my sorrow.
literally exactly how i feel, and ill still be 30% sad
Roquan finishing off that guy Stone had by the ankles (from halfway across the field) was a top-notch Ray Lewis impersonation.
Agree. 100%.
Man, I feel that vibe as well from him!

I am very thankful for EDC and how many of our guys contribute, even if they aren't starters
That speed turn by Darby is actually shockingly impressive
Agree he looks less smooth than other guys, but he gets the job done.
I’m all for resigning him for depth purposes. Dude’s been solid
It was a really nice turn indeed.
van noy is so underrated man love what he’s brought to the team
I can't wait to see what MMcD dials up for Chiefs
Great defense is always fun for me to watch.
Agreed
Same here. Defense is where it's at.

Coach, brilliant work as always!! Thank you for the consistently great vids that offer sooooooo much insight!
I'm interested to hear more on the chiefs matchup and how to combat their run game

Great vudeo breakdown as usual sir
Great content
Everyone forgets we are missing J. He was great in week had potential to ve incredible if healthy
Kyle Hamilton put on a true clinic and almost had pick 6
Clowney is a beast!!!
Looking forward to your breakdown of the Ravens offense in the first half vs the second half against the Texans
idk if you have one but you should do a film study on the chiefs offense currently and things the ravens defense should need to do
I would be interested to see some film from the team you coach. Good stuff
Jimmy Smith said something about Marlon Humphrey not coming back this year. I hope he is wrong.
Same. I saw that too
Was it on Saturday ? He was absolutely hammered on Saturday talking crazy left and right on streams 🤣🤣
Good stuff! 💜🖤😈😈😈
Great video
It looks like we have an 1 or 2 players on the field on defense… that’s how good we are
Pacheco runs angry! We cannot let him get to the 2nd level, and we have got to make Mahomes uncomfortable, no side-arm check-downs, to extend a drive.
This is the most physical team the chiefs going to play we gotta have a clean game we all the chiefs got thd refs in pocket
Well all 22 youre gonna make the god video if lions vs ravens meet lol
Facts lmao
Yooo that is so true
I wonder why the Cleveland browns number one ranked defense couldn't do this😅

Ey I'd stay away from Brandon Stephens too, that dude is a dawg
man he got soo much better can't even believe it
@@newera8388 not wrong, he put it all together
I heard someone say Marlon should stay on the sideline and let Darby get the reps.👀👀👀. Is that a hot take?
I agree to a certain extent , I would put Marlo in the slot & keep Darby/Stephns outside
Yo we so much better on defense without Marlon we only give up bombs when marlon play I hope he's out for kc game
When was the last time there was a big *bomb* play when Marlo was playin
@@xMajor24 he got mossed girl a big gain in the rams game multiple times and he gave up a bomb against the Steelers when he not playing when don't give up shit ....
Well he hasn’t been healthy all yr, I’m pretty sure that Steelers game was his first one back. So was he not a key factor against the 9ers?
