I just went from a Note4 (bought it when it came out over 3 years ago) to the Note8. What a huge difference. Just the camera and the speed at which this phone operates compared to my 4 is insane. If you're looking at the s8, I'd wait a month until the S9 and S9+ come out.
Does the metal plate in this Product interfere with the inductive charging? I heard ppl who charged their phones and did not remove the plate from their phone. The result was hot metal plate on a phone that got 0% charged in 2 hours. Also i habe an air vent mount and the plate i stuck to my phone prevents wireless charging.
Last year's samsung's fast charger has the problem that unless you have some kind of rubberized case the holder is very slippery and barely holds the phone, while the new convertible model has a deeper indentation
perhaps, but I always use a case, and I've had no issues with getting it to fast charge wirelessly. If you need the new one it's great, but it's also a whole lot more money to spend if you don't

I really like the concept of magnetic car mount but I don't like cases so I use skins, I already invested on wireless chargers, some claims you don't need the metal plate that is why I ask, so I guess I need to buy one to find out. The convertible stand seems like it's an upgrade and it does fast charge the S8 unlike last years. And the old costs like 23 on eBay

At 1.0 amps output, is the Tylt Flip Stick strong enough to get a decent charge, right away, on the GS8?
