He was describing them as weird but neglected to mention that the male echidna has a four headed penis. I think that’s pretty weird.
Thorny devils are actually very placid and will just sit in the palm of your hand. Their thorns are exceptional soft and rubbery.
The echidna is not the only monotreme. The platypus is also a monotreme.
What's the difference between an echidna and a police car ?
A police car has the pricks on the inside.
AGRO'S joke.
I miss Agro 🤣
@@pierreverschueren8382 All true Australians miss Agro. I was working nightshift back then and would watch him with my kids, them before school, me before bed.
@@Aquarium-Downunder HAHA All the softie's would be up in arms today. 😄
tasmanian devil has the strongest bite force of any animal for it's size. the quoll has the second strongest bite force of any animal by size. you don't want to put any appendages near either one because they can chew up bone.
They missed two. The Shingleback and the Bluetongue.
I have seen... thorny devils, frilled neck lizards, echidna, platypus, and the quoll in their natural environment
Love it when an American does a video about Australian wildlife straight off Wikipedia haha and how are they weird?
You should watch Priscilla Queen of the Desert as one of the drag costumes is a frill neck lizard 😂 I’m Australian
Love your commentary. Always makes me smile!
Tassie devils have the strongest bite pound for pound of any mammal on the planet
Curlew calls sound like a crying baby in the bush. Even if you know what it is it's still creepy.
True .
Correct first time for me was in Sarina and i thought it was a baby being strangled.
@@SunnieSnell I thought the same wtf is a baby in a paddock this time of night I had to go ask questions 😂😂👍🏻
I've always known them as storm birds.
I'm looking into an Australian garden at dusk, Owl's and Bat's flapping.
The Platypus are mostly in the cool, clean ponds of Tasmania, there's more peace and natural foods there! They are shy and hard to find, so unlikely to spike you! 😁 Tassie Devils are soft and sweeter than they look! 🤗
I liked it - a nice variety of animals.
I remember first night at my new place and click clack clacking, the hall scorpion. Clack.
Definitely would have been better with an example of the curlew' call.

yeah, you can't mention it without a sample, I remember 1st time I heard it, after moving to an Island in Whitsundays and thinking it sounded like a child was being attacked lol
I used to hate being Duty NCO (Army) at Enoggera, man those bastards would keep you up all night.
Reaction on India win T20 World Cup final
Stop calling our animals “weird”. The word you’re looking for is “unique.”
You interrupt too often
Driving properly on any Aussie road outside large cities you always look for animals & birds on the road & avoid hitting them. I have never killed anything on the road except cane toads. 🦘🐨
And that's so rewarding! 🐸💤
