I NEED HELP. The update doesn't really work. Every time the update is completed, it repeats the update the whole time, I'm now on my 5th update, and I'm really annoyed l.

Don't know it too dear but the latest firmware will be automatically seen once you try to connect & update to BP app. The latest BP app has a new look now but the steps to update are the same w/ this tutorial.

If you turn on your Bluetooth's device & location, plus the lightstick's Bluetooth should be blinking blue to match them. This part still doesn't work?

Try to visit my community wall. 1 blink had the same problem and found out a solution. I couldn't pin her comment so I took a screenshot and posted in my community section. Hope it will work this time for you!

I didn't have a problem updating mine. It worked on my first try but other blinks encountered problems like yours. let's wait for Helena's reply in the comment section.
The lightstick I got is defective so I returned it to the store and got my refund. I bought a new one and it's still on its way. Anyway, lightstick can work with batteries. You don't need to plug it but mine here doesn't work with batteries so I had to plug it.
Aww, it's supposed to connect the way I did it. The pressing of the power button is important to connect them. If you have another phone, maybe you can try it there.
Have you followed the steps shown in the app? On/Off for its bluetooth is very important in the steps to update. If you press wrong, update will not show/continue.

It works in BP music videos on YT and for sure in other music apps too. Mine, automatically reacts to the next song if I play the whole album. The only song that doesn't react in my lightstick among their new songs is Ready For Love. Try to check Helena's tip. She had a problem with her LS before. I posted it in my community section. 🙂
If you're done with the update, volume the music up and put it closer to your device. Or you try the troubleshoot that I posted in my community wall. That's from a blink.

Perhaps, there's something you missed when you updated your lightstick. It should turn pink when done and blinks in different colors according to the music.

Sometimes it doesn't really connect. Just keep trying, make sure LS is blue to connect it to your device.

If that's a legit LS, it will surely connect. Although sometimes it fails in connecting w/ theatest version..just keep trying!

That's okay, it happens to me as well. Try playing even if it says it's disconnected. My lightstick still responds. 😊
