Good video Matt! I too use a Lee crimp die for all my AR handloads. Just got done handloading some 6.8spc (crimped.) Give you peace of mind!! I used my 300BK for deer hunting this year. Branes 120gr. TAC-TX 18.5grs Lit'Gun @ 2270fps. Shot a doe at 70yds. she was quartering a way, got her back of the ribs right side exited base of the neck! Ran 50yds. & piled up, wish I could have recovered the bullet!! P.S. must have been a while ago you shot this, we have not had any snow in a while???
I don't get to shoot everything all in one day. This took about a month with the time that I had available to me. But very cool on bagging the doe. I did not get a deer this year. Things happened and I was not able to get out except for opening day.
Sorry to hear that, but I've been in spots like that too. One of these day I will run in to you a the range? Take care and have a Merry Christmas Matt!@@mattsreloadingbench
How do you like the Lee App? I have one but have not set it up yet. Just hand priming an knocking primers out while sizing. But have been thinking of getting a decapping die. Honestly forgot I had the Lee till I seen your video an realize how much unnecessary work I am doing. But I am just learning so doesnt hurt me in the least.@@mattsreloadingbench
@@seetownwv I love it. BUT......... !!!!!!!!!!!☆☆☆☆☆MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVE THE PRIMING INSERT WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING IT!!!!!!!!!☆☆☆☆☆ If you don't, the primer feed down shute will flex permanently and won't work right. With that being said, it is awesome and I can guarantee that all of my primers are seated consistently. I never realized how much inconsistencies there were by using a hand primer!
Speeds thru a chronograph would have been cool ….good work 👍🏽
I agree. But in this case, my primary focus was just the group size.
Thanks for watching!
Great video! I have been reloading about a year now, all pistol calibers. Want to try rifle soon. Thanks
