He might have done that much once, in an extreme situation and probably shredded a bunch of tendons and tore muscles, but he can't do anywhere near 5 tons normally. About half a ton is his usual "see I'm stronger than I look" moments.

He drove a katana through thick concrete when he stabbed Francis, He kicked Francis a few feet's away into a pile of boxes, punches through a possibly reinforced windshield, including this scene, etc., and the new one he has some great feats too. He also has superhuman durability, reflexes, agility, stamina, etc. And I get what you mean about Cable's arm, but Cable is too big; no actor will get as big as Cable, and if they gave him a bigger cybernetic arm, it wouldn't look good with the other arm being smaller.
They played the Annie song because A: it was an orphanage and B: the message is Annie thinks tomorrow will be a better day (the sun comes out) and Wade's tomorrow will be better because he'll be with Vanessa.

You know what’s crazy is that I feel the same way as you guys do. As I feel like the first one is far better than this one but…in about 95% of the reactions that I’ve seen, they all say the exact opposite…they say that this one is not only funnier than the first but that the story itself is better aswell!? I honestly just don’t get why people feel that way really? 🤦♀️🤷♀️🤨oh well…no matter what Deadpool is absolutely amazing and Ryan is with out a doubt…the best possible choice for the role and just like Hugh with Wolverine or Robert as Iron Man or even Johnny as Captain Jack Sparrow etc… they will never be bested!!!😉👍😅

They compromised... he does still have it, just not to the level he used to. He can do about 1000 lbs, or more but he'll tear muscles.
