It's amazing how this song never fails to make me cry. I always associate the lyrics to how my uncle felt when it was his time, it was really sudden. The first half are his frustrations, not being able to do anything at all to prevent death from happening, while the second half is his acceptance and his journey.
If you can believe it, THIS is the song that made me first give metal a chance. Then i listened through Whispered, Soilwork, Slayer... but at the end of the day Gojira is at the top. Lyrically, technically and thematically - pure talent. Love em.
