“A day trip to Paris.” I wish !

It's 2.5 hours by highspeed train. If you book long enough in advance you can get a return ticket for 50 - 80 euros. That is less than the gas you'd need if you were to drive (which is a 5 hour one way trip). So the train is faster and cheaper. Sadly they don't offer similar pricing for Germany else I would go there more often too. One of the perks of living in Europe (and in a major city that has several high speed connections).

I absolutely love the aqua jelly bb cream. I’ve found that a brush gives more coverage than a sponge. Lovely haul and I hope you have a wonderful day!

I have been loving a brush for applying my foundation lately. So I will be sure to try it.

When your jelly Much Shadows dry out you can revive them with water. I just wet my brush with water and they work great.

Ok, snow angel here, with seriously dry skin, and rosacea. 😊Can anybody recommend a BB cream. Fav was discontinued. I’m looking for quick and easy, and fabulous looking skin. Yes I’m looking for a miracle! 😂😎

Hi I have extremely dry skin with rosacea and eczema, plus I'm ghostly pale lol. BB creams are hit and miss due to shades tbh. I like the missha bb cream in shade #13, but I have to mix some white mixer into it to get a good shade match (#13 is the lightest shade). The Missha has a fair bit of coverage in my opinion (at least on me), so Instead for a lighter finish on the skin I like the Mac F&B in shade C1 - it is a better shade match for my ultra pale skin and it's more moisturising. I hope that helps.

I think Loraine's recommendations can be worth a try. The Missha Perfect Cover has been my favorite for years so that may be worth a shot if you need skincare properties to you foundation. If you want more of a traditional foundation then I really loved the NYX Born to Glow and Estee Lauder Hydra Rescue. Depending on your price point either one could be nice. I also love the It Cosmetics CC cream but the shade selection is weird. So it has to come in your match.

Hi Maaike oh that's a lot lol, but I also bought more than I usually would. I had money for Christmas and a few gifts etc, so I bought a few things I had wanted. I bought that RMS beauty kit on sale for £28 a couple of weeks ago - the living luminizer I had also had on my wishlist for ages. I really like it - it's a subtle glow in a transparent base with absolutely no glitter and it's great for my dry/mature skin (goes really well with the Armani blush lol). the mascara I haven't tried yet. The eyeshadow looks quite bronze on my skintone, or at least a taupey bronze perhaps (no hint of mauve on me). It's very shimmery and not kind to textured eyelids, so I have to be sparing with it. It doesn't migrate down the face though and does stay put. I got the ND retro glam palette and a romand matte palette (from my stylevana order). I got the gift set of the Rare beauty liquid blushes at the beginning of December. I bought a few lip things - UD matte backtalk, nars lipstick in the shade damage, IT cosmetics solid lip serum stick, peripera ink velvet, a kiko slim lipstick and their tinted balm. I also bought a few eyeliners, a Clinique mascara set and a luminous cream blush from Kiko (as well as the GA neo nude in shade 50 I already mentioned). I did get some stuff in the Kiko cyber Monday sale including the radiant fusion powder, a cream shadow and some bits already mentioned. For me that's a LOT in a short space of time. That's probably it for a while for me and much of it was with money I was gifted for Christmas and birthday. I've tried everything (apart from the RMS mascara and the two smaller Rare beauty blushes) and most of it was a hit, so I'm happy with my purchases. Best wishes.

The tone up base from Numbuzin in beige is really nice. A lot of bases are less hydrating than bb creams and tone up bases can have quite a lot of pigment so they may need to be worked like foundations. I often wear them alone. The Skinfood Soda cushion in lavender is one of my favs but it's not a permanent.. . Also the Espoir peach base is great

Yeah I def think some of these can be worn 'as is'. Esp great for the summer time when I don't want to wear much makeup on top of my SPF.

I saw this on another channel where the content creator (I forget who unfortunately) held a mirror up next to a palette and in the mirror you could see what the color shift was. So if you go to that part in your video where you are holding up the New Neutral palette, if you look at the palette itself you see the color in the pan. However, if you look at the mirror, you can see the shift. For example, the second shadow in the top row looks kind of bronze in the pan but in the mirror it looks green.
Great video. You picked a lot of interesting things. I'm eager for your opinion. I haven't been happy with ColourPop lately but I thought maybe that was just me. I have been wanting to try some BK Beauty brushes so I hope you like them. I am subscribed to Lisa J, the owner of BK Beauty. She seems so genuinely nice. She started BK Beauty because her daughters inspired her and she wanted to teach them about Beauty and Kindness ( the B K )

Mirrors only work in some cases. The flaky peach in the middle? Yup green flip. Doesn't show up in the mirror. But you'll see this palette in action soon.

Pretty please review the PMG blush! I've heard the split pans are a lot more pigmented than the original release, and I want to know if it's a nice experience to blush with such a bold colour such as purple!

You got some great things Maaike. I got a tester set of Maison Margiella for their Replica series as I was interested in a couple for which there were no testers in store. Got one for my birthday and got the others for BF on a good deal.
