These killers may know how to ‘play’ but they use the most OP add ons and a shit ton of gen perks.. the amount of regression perks tells me they rely on it every single match

@@noatak6852it is because they arent playing against scrubs. this is a 4 man comp team who knows how to do everything efficiently (loop, do gens, heal, take hits, save, communicate, etc.). especially without addons, having no good slowdowns, you are almost guaranteed to lose, having to manage 4 players who know how to control pressure. slowdowns allows the killer to apply pressure to other survivors more often and effectively, making pressure control less manageable. it is not like the survivors are running garbage builds either. they have the some of the best builds, if not the best builds, within that ruleset.

they buffed billy back to being a top tier killer,they buffed ds back to 5 seconds,all they gotta do is buff ruin back to 200% and we have old dbd back
DS getting put down to 4 seconds from what the rework notes say, so the buff didnt last long 😆. That being said though, 4 seconds will probs be a good place, as that'll be 1 second for drop anim & 3 seconds to make distance
@@Xxicewolf97xX3 seconds is enough to make it to a safe loop so it doesn’t make a difference against m1 killers, but 3 seconds is not enough to make distance against killers like blight and nurse. Imo, I think it should be 5 seconds.

i think the thing was basekit nurse outperformed blight, but with no addon restrictions blight did better. this might mean that without addon restrictions dans billy > nurse. im not sure how well this holds up to your average game tho haha
@@fletcher5148 there are people that play dbd that are better than all the streamers and comp kids by miles. the last time i 1v1'd a comp kid the dude immediately deleted the vod. so basing the maximum skill ceiling on a twitch/yt channel is just not an accurate representation of a killers potential.

the fact that billy is number 2 and still one of (imo the most) fun killers to play against shows that billy is peak design
I think their old designs just shine so much more, since they’re so simple. Old killers generally were way easier to understand: “you throw axes, they injure people, they down people” “you turn invisible” “you have a chainsaw that downs people, you go fast”.
Meanwhile, new killers are like “you have tunnels around the map, which you can teleport through, and when you use the tunnels you can crouch and poke the survivors, but the survivors place turrets down which make you lose your pokey thing”, “you set a drone down, and you check it, you lose your terror radius in the drone, if the survivors stand in it for this amount of time it makes them broken, then it makes them need to mend, with addons it makes them broken, they can disable the drone and you can re-able it, etc etc”
maybe I’m nit picky since doctor is hard to understand and he’s an older character, but I feel like generally their new characters are just so much more annoying to grasp and play against.
@@fart63 honestly i could totally agree with that but I still think they NAILED the unknown! even if it’s a little more complex than some killers it’s super fun to predict tps, hurry breaking them, bait uvs and try to keep los which is different but still familiar. Though I do tend to like old killers better for playstyle and looping (billy’s my favorite and huntress is a close second)

I would argue that with how new some blight mechanics are, and how both killers are going to experience massive variance due to the nature of their powers its probably a bad idea to jump to any conclusions off of these few games

I'm still a little torn on who's better now, though I'm still leaning more towards Blight. Billy's a killer of greater highs and lower lows, with more stakes riding on each chainsaw sprint vs each of Blight's rushes, and I feel like that consistency from Blight makes him more reliable in a game with as many variables as DBD
Spot on. The only advantage Hillbilly has over Blight is oneshot. While Blight doesn't have it, scoring hits with lethal rush is far more reliable than with chainsaw . Also, I think Blight has consistently better mobility across all maps in the game, while on some, like The Game, Hillbilly better off traveling without chainsaw sprint.

the sad part is: what the blight was bringing into the wrecker's yard match is just what you see every blight bring to every solo q survivors in every match lol. i almost never see anything other than double iri addons, pain res pop etc
Same i played solo queue for 3 hours a couple days ago and went against 5 blights in that span and all of them had double iri addons lol and we got crushed in all of those games.
Honestly that’s kinda behaviors fault. Base kit blight is so slow and clunky and needs some bumber adjustments while the iridescent addons need to be toned down. Either that or people just need to adjust to no hug techs like the Japanese

Imo blight is still top 2 followed by billy, because blight can turn corners better and get hits with is power more frequently. billys power except the first couple seconds is very linear. Blight can get hits while already into a couple of rushes because he can just ridirect when bumping into something. Thats just my opinion. Its nice to see billy rise up on the tierlist after such a long time of being so underwhelming

Lilith is not a competitive player, hes good mechanically but he does not have the level of gamesense to be able to perform better than obii, these matches make obii look worse than he is just because these are like the best survivors in the world

Why is Doom Engravings allowed, looking at the Invitational rules set it says Rare and Below? Engravings are... Iri though. So if its still considered a Green for w/e reason, then why are Spiked Boots still considered a Purple like they were previously. Clearly I am missing something here

End of July, with 3 other creators being involved its not just on me to schedule these things. I gave you the information I had at the time. I'm not promising you end of July, there are things that are out of my control these are the current plans tho.
These videos are basically killers camping if they don’t get a down quickly and tunneling. “Oh but this is the fastest way to win” on theory yes, on practice they can just rush gens and drop every pallet. there is no skill being showed because these same gameplays are done by the random killers you find, except they actually rush the gens and the killer gets one kill. The survivors also didn’t showed much skill at all. Dropping shack pallet at 5 gens? Very casual gameplay

After watching this I think blight has a worse basekit after the removal of hug tech but he still has a slight edge when it comes to no restrictions since his strongest addons are still better than billy's best in most scenarios. At least imo. I do think billy overall is the stronger killer between the 2 now

4 months ago when the ptb hit, no one beleived me billy will be S tier behind nurse, its true before the curve window buff in 7.5.1 maybe not, but as soon as that buff came to life it was the best thing ever, imo on non indoor maps engravings billy with no other addon is imo better than nurse is. Playing billy for the last 4 years was completely worth it, from skybilly to now overdrive billy, its just been a wild ride and i enjoy every second of it
