    Question - you said "If you hit as hard as you did in the 170, you've really gotta go around" - Is that just because you're unlikely to recover and safely land if you have that much energy? Or something else?

      I would say your assumption is correct, if you have a bounce that aggressive you likely have too much energy and with a proper recovery you will have to bleed off that airspeed which will then take up more runway and may not be sufficient enough to land. Also. Keep in mind. Though (this is a simulator but in real world) aircraft are built to withstand some landing gear impact, too much impact can severely damage the landing gear. Going around and getting equipment on the runway standing by for a potential landing gear collapse or belly landing is always a safe bet than to crash and have no one ready to assist you.
