Turned out to be the right choice Maniac is STILL charting on Korean charts so much after VIVIZ already finished promotions xD I KNEW VIVIZ would release a longevity on the charts song 1 day there songs are to good to be ignored for long am just surprised it happened so fast there only in there 2nd year

Untie is actually very relatable cause the lyrics talk about how we people tend to always perceive the social media version of us, being locked up in the “square shape” and ignoring our reality, Umji was singing that on the first part and basically it talks generally about how social media creates this hypnotizing thought that we have to be like people whom we see on social media, making us get “tied”, and wanting to “untie” in that kind of addiction/mindset and acknowledge the reality that we are different from the social media version of us.

I love everything about MANIAC the cuteness, the choreo, the vocals, the visuals and the power in the chill of it. Seeing and hearing UNTIE for the first time blew me away. The song is sexy and the message in the lyrics is so reflective of our society. The choreo is again, AMAZING! VIVIZ killed it this comeback
So the reason Untie isn’t the cb song it’s because of the very VERY complicated yet stunning dance. However they still promoted it for their fans and as much as I know they wanted to be the cb song as well it’s just a very overwhelming dance but they really ATE the performances show. I think they’ve done like 3-4 performances of it 💖💖

A simple reason why i think untie wasn't the title is because it's not a main stream song, its not a song that the majority of korea would like, and vivz have been promoting only in korea so it doesn't make sense for them to suddenly change their target audience, so i think that was a smart move by their company to promote untie with maniac to test the water and attract a new audience with the exciting one
I never heard of VIVIZ before listening to Unite on shorts, now I am a super fan and have listened to all of their albums. Their music is really awesome.

The reason why Untie wasn’t the title track is probably the same as to why the you of the future was listening to Maniac more… its ability to replay. Untie is very impactful at first listen but it’s also true that you need to be in an specific mood to listen to it, while Maniac works in a day to day basis. VIVIZ really wanted Untie as the title (they love it a lot) but the company pushed for Maniac so they settled with a performance video and a week-long promotional run after Maniac so it’s kinda like a double title. Either way, both have been extremely beneficial for VIVIZ and their versatility 👏 Thank you so much for the reaction, it was everythinggggg! ❤☺️

VIVIZ members really want Untie as the title track, however, the company push through Maniac as the title track. For me as well, Maniac is the best title track rather than Untie since it's more listenable than Untie. Though Untie could be also a double title track. Both songs are well written, produce, and performed well by the girls. You could not get wrong with these two songs anyway. And yes, Maniac is a melancholy type of song, its about toxic relationship, basically, you hate the person but you still love them, in the first chorus it says "This Love is Maniac but I can't Killin it, killin it, killin' it." Then, you started to love and accepted their flaws hence on the last chorus " This love is Maniac, but I'm okay with it". For Untie, it's about social media being a very toxic environment. Thank you for always supporting the girls. I'm sorry if until today there are people are still questioning your love for the girls. Nonetheless, your reaction and love for them are all being shown through this reaction of yours. Very much appreciated all the compliments that you give to the girls. VIVIZ members really want Untie as the title track, however, the company push through Maniac as the title track. For me as well, Maniac is the best title track rather than Untie since it's more listenable than Untie. Though Untie could be also a double title track. Both songs are well written, produce, and performed well by the girls. You could not get wrong with these two songs anyway. And yes, Maniac is a melancholy type of song, its about toxic relationship, basically, you hate the person but you still love them, in the first chorus it says "This Love is Maniac but I can't Killin it, killin it, killin' it." Then, you started to love and accepted their flaws hence on the last chorus " This love is Maniac, but I'm okay with it". For Untie, it's about social media being a very toxic environment.
