Your cat was very patient with you, Ari! 😁 Yes, I actually did this but with songs! And I can hear songs in Russian I recorded in the early stages of my learning, and I just realize the huge difference of how I sound singing the same song now! so if you guys sing, I think that's a cool way to try it as well 🙃
Haha, yes he's very patient. Never thought of singing, but I think that makes a lot of sense. Singing is probably a good way to also help improve accent, as you pay closer attention to how Russian sounds.
I decided to start a TikTok where I use my Russian and only Russian and I record random videos through either scripting or what I know. I can go back and look at any video all the way back from a few months ago when I started all this.
to be honest, i'm not a russian learner but rather a german one! but i get so much from your videos! thank you so much for the hard work. i have been doing this for around a month in german and it has gotten so much better. highly recommend it as well!
Nice, I understood basically everything you said. I think if you keep this up with a weekly video or so, you'll make tons of progress in a couple of months
@@LearntheRussianLanguage Thank you. I guess it's exactly what I looked for. ☺️ Without skills like this I can't enjoy learning languages with this alphabet. 😑
Ari my man, but you gotta admit.. best learning Method is to have a russian GF;) Next week I move to Krakow from Germany to live near to my russian GF.
No, but my course Russian Conversations Unlocked comes close to having 1-1 lessons with me. You can listen to the first lesson here: learntherussianlanguage.com/free-russian-audio-lesson/
Im in china now, im learning chinese at university, after i would like to learn russian in saint peterbourg. Do you think its à good project because i want to do international business, i have a master degree in management and business development. Im french
Great question. First of all, I think professional success comes down to your skills. So a great marketer/engineer/programmar will do fine anywhere. And I like to think of foreign languages more as amplifiers. If you're for example a French engineer and you also know Russian, that would open up more opportunities than if you only knew French and English. But being a Frenchman that knows Russian in and of itself isn't too valuable in the marketplace if you don't have any other skills.
No single thing is going to make you fluent in Russian, but listening to good audio lessons + watching Russian series + speaking = a great combination.
The cat in the background makes this video 100% better
Haha I accidentally closed the door when he was still in the room before I started filming. I let him out directly after.

I still can't speak for heck 😂
Although I have practice lots of grammar, however, what I have notice is me understanding a lot more spoken Russian :)
Record yourself more often!

Успехов!
Да, я думаю их можно почти к любому языку применять. Удачи с Немецком)
I made a couple of videos a few months ago but this is giving me motivation to continue.

Спасибо, интересное видео.
И вам спасибо за просмотр!)
Is there a tool, a course or something that teaches how to use the Russian keyboard on your laptop?
I would try a regular blind typing trainer Russians use to practice. I just googled and found this: www.ratatype.com/ru/typing-tutor/

Haha it definitely helps, but I've got to admit I know plenty of Dutch guys with Russian-speaking girlfriends/wives for whom it didn't work.
@@LearntheRussianLanguage Did they wanted to learn the language or did they get the GF first?)
hey man, do you offer 1-1 tutoring over italki/zoom etc?
