Does this work as the opposite way? Like does the feeder stay closed unless a cat walks by with the collar and it opens? My aunt feeds an outside cat but the possum is getting into the food so she’s trying to see if this would be an alternative to keeping the possums out of her cat food.
this is so close to perfect, wish it worked with microchips since we don't put collars on our cats (last time we tried she tried to eat the collar). plus that tag looks bulky and uncomfy
I'm like 100. Thinking of getting this compared to surefeed. My dog steals other dogs food. He is on a special diet but won't eat his dry food. My senior doesn't like the special diet. I rather My senior be on a free feed but not have my other dog steal it.

Our cats have never worn collars. Do you think this would be an issue with this feeder and they would get used to wearing a collar.

I have 4 of them. My only complaint is they're so loud when the door opens and closes.
what about raiders? if a forbidden tag approaches while a tag that has access is eating will it close? :)
