I wish one of the TH-camrs would make a video on this race. Probably one of the most unique group of front runners you will ever see in a race from start to finish. Joe nemecheck dominating, a struggling rookie Kurt Busch short pitting and battling for a win. Kenny Wallace subbing for park and nearly pulling the sweep for the 1 team. Benson and Nadeau also having great days. The usual contenders were nowhere to be seen all day with Dale Jarrett coming home in 4th the best of those. Rockingham was amazing.

Probably the most forgotten victory of 2001. Joe Nemechek is underrated af. Hell of a driver and it’s awesome seeing John-Hunter fighting for wins.

I remember being at this and the 2000 pop secret 400 race as a kid, I still remember the smell of burning rubber and race fuel and the atmosphere of the place. would love to go back for the first race that the cup series goes back there man.

This was the first race I attended live...I love Rockingham but this wasn't a good first impression.
Kyle petty's spotter is trying to deflect blame when it was 100% his fault smh lol. Terrible.
