Thank you Steve. Bucket list spot for sure! At least the rain waited until we stepped up on to the shelter deck. It was perfect timing! Great viewers from the knob, I highly recommend hiking it if you make it out east again. 👍
I was going the other way, but that pasture and old mill were the highlights of that day. I think after that, my friends dropped me at the Angel's rest trailhead. What a great trip, I looked forward to the final.
@cachemacstrailtime The pasture was interesting, for sure. Never been walking through cattle like that :) And the old mill was an interesting find. So much history through the trail we will probably never know all of it! Thanks for watching.
That’s pretty cool that Virginia’s got a triple crown so does Michigan it’s three trails that are like 20 miles each or within a 50 mile radius It’s like a little over 60 miles total in three days I believe it’s Manistee national forest, the river trail, the Jordan river pathway and Fife Lake Loop
@lowermichiganadventures Seems like there's plenty of 👑Triple Crowns! JBEN and Crow are always talking about the Alabama Triple Crown (ATC). This one is absolutely cool, it can be done in one long day if you're a strong hiker, but then you wouldn't be able to enjoy things along the way. We made a weekend out of it. There is also a loop which adds another day's hike into the mix, we did end to end. Thanks for your support!
