The reason why you are getting under 500 MBps is because your C port must be a SS only capable port which is capable of 5 GBps only. If connected a 10 gbps port it can give more. Visit speed expect under FAQ section

Im getting only 50MBps in laptop(used usb3.1) and phone using c to c. Ive used wd black 770 and pibox emclosure.

ye to sab visual bases hai , koi badi 100+ GB file ko copy/move karo ta show karo aap ek baari pls
100gb ki file me starting ke 40 to 45gb tak to 200MBps after that 120MBps for remaining 55GB file
try using the type c to type c cable, i am getting around 950MBps, type c to type a cable is limited to 5Gbps.
Both are giving the exact same speed 😅
