She wanted to increase exposure to her product that's why she came with such a high valuation.. If a dragon had invested, that would be a bonus but to get x amount of people watching this show and trying her app is free advertising.
Exactly right. I notice that all (yes, all!!) the highly over-valued companies in the den are the type of companies that require high numbers of regular Joe Soap consumers or website members to gain traction. In other words they go on the den, not to gain an investor, but to gain tv exposure (customers/viewers).
The only reason to do this is to get free publicity with zero chance of ever having to give away any equity in the company. It's essentially just a play to get free publicity. Hey, it seems to work though because these people get on the show even after a screening.
@@karlossantana2306 - at least I don't need a £100 000 app to tell me which T-shirt to wear🤔 PS: All my T-shirts were chosen with purpose, so it really doesn't matter which one I wear on which day. Think of me as a poor Steve Jobs😂😂😂

It's a nonsense idea. If you have so much wardrobe that creating an outfit gets problematic then actually maintaining a digital copy of your collection is entirely unfeasible. You must also take every picture in the exact same lighting and at perfect angles - and it's still going to deviate from the look & feel of the actual physical thing. The solution to this problem is getting better and more efficient and picking up your outfit, not creating more work out of it. ...oh and she's gonna sell your personal data to the retailers. Awesome.
Not your personal data, your personal combinations. This slice of important data can easily be passed onto retailers without need to divulge the identity of the customer. Let's not distort what she said.
She has a very privileged demeanour, which is probably why she feels that investing £70,000 and coming in with such a ridiculous valuation was going to be accepted.
I have extreme body dysmorphia and occasionally I’ll feel totally ready but when I go to step out the door something stops me and I’ll spend the next hour in tears frantically trying to find something else to wear that makes me more comfortable.
