    i agree. i speak only emglish, but am learning Japanese to help me to more fully understand karate and its origins. if you want to learn an art, be willing to learn the language of its originating culture.

    I undestand that the people who made this video are not interested to share the beauty of the Okinawa culture, due to the fact , that despite of several request for subtitels in English it seams that they are not willing to do it. Okinawa heritage , from my point of view belongs to mankind.

    I wish I could hear the original Japanese. That first interview at 4:15, the guy must have said “ano” (“um”) half the time he was talking...

      english is spoken by billions of people ,russian is speak only in your country.You are damned by the decades when you are ruled by comunists.In the tsar period the rich people learn french,german but the comunist made you dislike foreign culture.
