Good lord the way how the production staff was laughing/freaking out at the last guy who lost in the first round. They were just as shocked as everyone else, and they wished he stayed longer. Poor guy. Thank you so much for this upload!
Contestants shown Tom Saunders (before taping) Andre Middleton (on $64,000 question) Angela Alleyne (on questions $300-$4,000) John Houston (returning contestant interview) Gregory Ambrosini (on $32,000 question) Anonymous Contestant (on $500 question) Episode dates: October 21, 2003 October 23, 2003 October 24, 2003 October 27, 2003
From the American "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" show, this is a behind-the-scenes shooting in early 2004 and it's during season two of the syndicated version (with host Meredith Vieira). 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
The first five questions music is added afterwards but the music from question 6 and up is played in the studio, if you pay attention you can hear it skip about after editing sometimes. Most of the music is played in studio bar the first five questions music and anything else that would be edited a lot.
The crew knew his identity for legal logistics and screening for crimes and such I presume. Can anyone just ask to be anonymous and only this guy asked? He does unmask here, we see his face. Were people allowed to go on in costume with fake names the whole time and nobody thought to ask?

Wow who wants to be a millionaire is awesome for me to watch the show
I saw the episode with Gregory Ambrosini and Anonymous Contestant on a recorded VHS in the early 2000's, as well as the next contestant, Shawn Cox.
I wonder who was filming this? Great video!
6:54 Ah, yes, Angela Alleyne, a contestant on October 23, 2003.
Did you work as a member of the production? How was it?
Good

Was it ever live? I thought it's prerecorded, that the music is added afterwards and theres no need for live direction
Always has been recorded in the United States. In the United Kingdom, there were a few series (seasons) that were live.

@@glitchedblood And his identity remains hidden to this day.
@@gameshowguy2000 I wonder, could anyone ask to be anonymous on the show and he's the only guy who asked?
