For a mini refurb, this cleaner has come up really well Dorian. I know what you mean about the lack of a height adjustor. It does make a lot of difference. For example, I like the 1960s Hoover Juniors & Seniors, great efficient cleaners but the absence of a 4 position height adjustor on these cleaners ,means that on short pile carpets/carpet tiles etc, they are practically useless. :)
Hey Richard, hope you’re well! It was nice how it came up and I really do love using it. Even though there is no height adjuster it still did pretty ok on the shaggy rug, I was just a little cautious on the hard floor.

You have probably answered this on many occasions, so my apologies if I’m going over old ground again..... why to the Electrolux machines not suffer from the Turbopower ‘lean’? BTW what was that white powder in the plastic bag and WHERE did you get it? 😱😱😱
Would you be interested in an Electrolux 550? It has belt issues that I've tried to fix and the motor is a bit worn but I am having to make space for a Contour I'm hoping to get.

The design of the Electroluxes was far sturdier with simple, but very good quality chunky parts, they’re so better in quality compared to the TP’s
