    Great info. 👍
    No channel that I've seen about O/O trucking has explained how to electronically do rate cons, BOLs, or invoicing for a new authority.
    I'm a 24 year driver thinking about going owner.
    I wondered if every O/O has a printer, a fax, and whatever else needed in their truck....lol.

    Is it Only just 1 App for Owner Operators to Do all these in 1 place? BOL, Invoicing, & Rate Cons??? Because Using 3 Different Apps have me Looking like 😳😒

    Great video! I use the same app to scan, sign everything off my NOTE 10, save everything on the phones memory and micro SD card. And in 5 minutes load is booked, carrier packet filled out, sent, and saved. The note is a true business phone.

    Sound really good but by the law, I'm pretty sure you have to put that works within your logbook.🤦
    If the DOT uncover your work by the date of folders created and do not see it on you logbook you are done.. You can have your HOS busted... 🤔

    In the process of getting my authority so thank you for all the vids. How do you get paid? When invoicing do you provide your bank information? or is that done in the carrier packet?

    • @DIYSEMI
      @DIYSEMI  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      provide banking info in the packet if you want direct deposit...otherwise they send a paper check

    I’m terrible at keeping my documents organized after the fact. They’re just dumped on my iCloud storage in one giant folder. Im going to organize them into years/quarters/trips when I get home. I also need to make a load numbering system I’ve just been using the number the broker assigned to their rate con. I know it’s terrible I should use my own number.

    Petro/TA UltraONE is great you can send a free fax with a Ultra Credit. You get one by fueling up at least 60 gallons.

    Hey Diy well actually first thing is it alright if I call u Adam rather than Diy? But anyway I wanted to ask u what u thing of the Truck Claw Traction Aid Kit? They're pretty expensive especially since I would have to buy a kit which comes with two per kit for each drive tire. Luckily I'm running super singles lol. Do you think they would perform good on icy mountain passes and would they be a good investment? They may be expensive but they'll save me a lot of time and headache which equals money so as long as they perform they'll pay for their selves. Your a pretty smart guy so I figured I'd ask you. Thanks for everything that you do brother I really do appreciate u. Wish there were more people like u in this world.

      @DIYSEMI  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Bernie, you can call ma Adam. I like the concept of the truck claw. I've always kind of wondered if they stay on. I can see on a car that is lighter weight. I wonder too, they seem kind of high profile to use going down the road. Are they just for like getting you un stuck? Or can you drive with them on? I wonder if their are any online reviews?

    • @berniesands6201
      @berniesands6201 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DIYSEMI I can't really find any good reviews of class 8 trucks using them on ice... How about auto socks do you know anything about them or if they actually work? I'm not doing it just to be lazy if they don't actually work I'd rather just keep on throwing chains. Can't really find any good reviews on them neither, but it seems like they would have even less traction than the tire it's self to me.
