Good job to stay regional. My radius is 175 miles from where home base. I'm on the West coast. Its not profitable going to the East Coast. New carriers need to "know" their numbers,
I just want to say thank you y’all have helped me out so much I’m about to take that leap and lease my first truck before I purchase one I’ll be watching and sharing have a great and amazing day
Thanks for the content, its really helpful. Can you do a video on how to set your filters for box loads. It is very difficult to book as a 60 day authority. I'm in GA and only have a 24ft box Reefer but have a difficult time. I thought about going directly to the shipper and solicit work. Thanks!
Love your channel! I'm new also to this business and I've only done Amazon flex so far, but I wanted to know if you have any examples of company profile letters or any websites that help me put a letter together. I've been racking my brain for 3 days trying to figure this lol.... thanks your doing an awesome job!
I am going for my Authority in the next couple days my concern is how will I find brokers that will work with a new authority ? Love you guys and appreciate the content !
Hi Boxtruckcouple, can you please talk about how you are paid by your brokers?, do you use factoring, or just wait until you receive payment 30-45 days later.
I will be talking about factoring in an upcoming video. How you chose is a matter of preference. We prefer to get paid in 24 hours so we factor. I will talk about what that means in an upcoming video okay ?
Yes you have to have ELD www.fmcsa.dot.gov/regulations/hours-service/summary-hours-service-regulations. We use Keep Trucking and it’s the best. You can call Aden @ Keep Trucking. He is awesome. His number is +1 (415) 997-6629 or (605) 467-8176
I don’t understand how to fill a carrier packet out without having to print it off, fill it out and fax it back. For one I don’t have a fax that is on a phone line and 2 how the heck to do that all from a truck

@@TheBoxtruckCouple thank you so much that’s is good advice to know before getting into this business. Because there are probably plenty others companies think the same a 16ft box truck isn’t bigger enough to deal with.🙏🏾
I’m not sure because our insurance matched Amazon requirements so when they saw what we had they just said we had enough. You can call and get set up with Landstar and they will let you know

I'm going through your videos, setting up my business. I have a question concerning Insurance for Amazon Relay. Commercial General Liability not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in the aggregate. Auto Liability not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, including a trailer replacement coverage of $50,000. Cargo coverage of least $100,000. The trailer replacement. Since we are not pulling a trailer, is this something that could be or is waived for box truck drivers. I couldn't get this info from Amazon. Please help, I'm in the mist of receiving quotes.
@@TheBoxtruckCouple Those requirements are listed as 'must have requirements' to Setup with Amozon Relay, as though, they themselves are not considering 'box truck' drivers in their onboarding. Seems should have a separate 'must have requirements' specific to Box Trucks.
@@TheBoxtruckCouple I will, trying to get a lil further down the road before I start burning your ear off. I want to get a picture of what my startup will cost me monthly. Truck note, Insurance, MC filing, LLC filing. I've asked my insurance provider with a mock up based on Amazon's insurance requirement, figuring it may be the going rate for brokers. Can you prove me with the general coverages you all use so that I can submit that to my agency, it would help me tremendously in getting a broader view of my possible monthly experiences. Are the load boards and brokers under the same companies or do you choose a load board example (DAT) and search for the brokers to book loads

I’m a new freight dispatcher. Should I be charging to receive a carrier packet?
Hi. Thanks for everything. I get my first truck in 2 weeks. Do you have to have ELD?

NUMBER 16 IN YOUR DESCRIPTION, IS THAT FOR DISPATCHERS OR DRIVERS? FOR LIKE DEDICATED LANES?
Number 16 is apply to brokers. That is for drivers so that they can already be set up with brokers when they are looking for loads on the loadboard

Amazon does not work with 16 foot Boxtrucks. They require 26 footers as you have to be able to hold 12 pallets

This is helping. They have plenty of videos showing where to get “loads” (not jobs). This is a part of the “job” the “newbees” have chosen to persue.
