hi Joe, as i understand it they have made a player wich is free, just like with kontakt, you have a player and a full version, if you want to import samples you need the full version it is specified under the mechania download button as "*Compatible with the Free Player version of Soundbox" so it means its not the full version of their engine, cheers mate
I think personally they're gonna need to do more than add a bit of a question in a FAQ page to repair their reputation... That's just me personally Also ooo nice synths
So... this version is a LITE version. Not the full version. I've just tried to click on the Mapping editor and got a popup that says it's a lite version.
It does say in the FAQ: By using Soundbox as a player, all features are unlocked and fully functional, except for the Sample & Mapping editor, which allows you to import and edit your own sounds. The Sample & Mapping editor can be unlocked through the settings tab, by entering a license key that comes with any Audiomodern Soundbox Instrument. Once unlocked, it stays unlocked permanently, with no need for further upgrades, as it includes free lifetime updates. It was on the screen at 00:36 but I should have mentioned it as well
