he was in the original too. but Vegetas will over shadowed his compassion at least what little he had for a sayian. honestly I think nappa only became more rotten because of Vegetas influance.

@@hggs4466 ya and I just realized most sayians would rather, Die! then to ask for help form another comrade. aspeacialy after being humiliated and beaten by another. not only that. also Goku showed mercy to him and let him lived. and instead of offing him self. he would ask his fellow sayian to just help him up. very unlike a sayian. he really did see his sayians as friends. it's really dark if you think about it.
I've long felt that raditz deserved more character development, it feels shocking to make him the blood biological brother of the main character of the entire franchise and one of the most iconic characters in pop culture and yet we never see or hear from him again at all

I’ve been a fan of DB/DBZ for years and lately it’s always bothered me that Goku instantly gave everyone a second chance except his own brother. But now it looks like we’re going to get it. I love how he’s introduced to Launch (his future wife). I can’t wait to see the next one.

She had the most potential out of any other human on earth - more than Krillin, Tien or Yamcha. Imagine how much she could accomplish if she trained alongside Goku; maybe even mastering Kaio-Ken better than him, since she'd have to rely on it more than he would. As well as drinking the ultra divine water by Karin, having her hidden powers unlocked by Grand Elder Guru, and eventually bringing out her latent abilities by Old Kai. With her entire potential unleashed and her mastery of the Kaio-Ken, she'd be more than capable to enter the Tournament of Power. What do you think of Chi-Chi training with Krillin, Tien, Yamcha and Chiaotzu for the year, while Piccolo trains Gohan? While Goku recovers in the hospital, Chi-Chi goes to Korin to drink the ultra divine water and has Goku train her in the Kaio-Ken during their trip to Namek - where she eventually has her hidden powers unlocked by Grand Elder Guru. But she doesn't have her latent abilities brought out by Old Kai until the Tournament of Power saga. Chi-Chi would also train with Goku and Gohan in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, because the Cell in this universe would also have her DNA (and have the ability to tap into the Kaio-Ken). Chi-Chi would even help Goten and Videl with their martial arts and ki training.
The combo of Goku not wanting to have to kill Raditz but battle him again. As well as meeting his future wife and co-parent Launch was enough to flip the script for Raditz. Maybe one day we will see the next part of this.
