Admittedly the optics of that video make it easy to fall for the narrative he ratted but let me explain why he didn't rat. Remember, that video/testimony was for his Alford plea. Basically, a plea that says there is enough evidence to convict you but you aren't admitting guilt. Additionally, everything Gunna admitted to would not be and legally could never enter the courtroom. THE PROBLEM IS: his stupid attorney either wasn't prepared or was too lazy and incompetent to advise Gunna he did not have to answer any of those questions the DA was asking him. I've seen numerous cases where an Alford plea was given and the defendant's lawyer strikes those questions or advises there client not to answer them . THAT's the PROBLEM! I feel bad for Gunna because his lawyer really dropped the ball on that. ESPECIALLY BECAUSE he's famous. I've seen people take Alford plea's for murder charges and when they asked them incriminating questions the lawyer steps in and speaks for the client or advises the client to simply say " there is enough evidence for me to be found guilty but I hold my peace." This is especially important for murder defendants who may still be open to civil trial for damages. His dumb ass lawyers need slapped and the person who took that video probably works for the DA. They trying to get Thug jammed up knowing damn well jurors still WATCH TV and have FRIENDS who INFORM THEM on the cases their SUPPOSED to be neutral on.
Everyone in the industry that knows they once cooperated is trembling in fear waiting because they know sooner or later someone is gonna FOIA request their criminal history and they will be exposed… 😓
