@@austinfisher1962 In Web of Shadows when Venom grabs Peter. Some of symbiote travels too him eddie says “What?!” Out of confusion then before Venom can completely bond with him he gets himself out of his grasp. So in short only a small part of Venom had enough time to latch onto Peter
True, insomniac made theirs terrifying. I just wish the final act wasn't rushed, and we had more playable moments with venom.. Man, what could have been if they had let the devs just delay the game and cook!!

Going back and playing this makes me realize how much more insomniac could have cooked.. Web of shadows combat and swinging still holds up, so many marvel characters to interact with. Yup, web of shadows will always have a special place in my heart

If you didn’t notice, the open world is very unpolished and the swinging could use work. They spent most of their time and budget on the combat instead of story and traversal.

Which is still hilarious, but… dang… If enough people actually played this game to get to the part where Spider-Man literally takes out his cell phone to call Tony Stark and Reed Richards for help with an alien invasion, and it goes straight to voicemail both times… man… so much unused meme potential. Goofiest Peter Parker ever. Just from his voice, I imagine he hasn’t shaved or showered in days and has no clue what the concept of deodorant is.
This was my favorite spiderman game ever to this day. Miles morales got nothing on evil peter parker . The one Spider-Man game where the choices you make good or bad affect your karma and how the game ends and where it goes during each mission. Its awesome. Plus symbiote wolverine was my favorite.
