I've always wondered with Canada having both English & French speaking programs, are most programs only done in one language or the other or are there examples of it being done in both languages simultaneously?
From what I've found it's usually just one or the other, but there are cases of it going to both languages. English speaking shows are rare these days though, only one I can think of that's still in production is Battle of the Generations.
It's one of my favorites, and Dick Clark was a true legendary host, same thing as American Bandstand, but also a $100,000/25,000 Pyramid, is second best television show of all time.
ABC's recent version has the same tie-breaker as the CBC version, but CBC did it better. You briefly showed a screen that showed what the team's times were. ABC's version doesn't tell us the times.
Fun fact: While the québécois version lasted three seasons on Radio-Canada, The France version on France 2/Antenne 2 lasted longer from 1991-2003 and 2014-2015
I kinda agree. Pyramide was better than Donnymid in more ways than one.
Donny Osmond's version of Pyramid was marginal!!
What more needs to be said about Pyramid being one of the greatest game shows of all time.

They play Pyramide in France much differently though. Something I might look at for The Global Game next year.
The Canadian version of Pyramid is much different.
