after the drive rush if he had done stand fierce into medium punch target combo into the same special+lvl3 he would have killed, ed has enough damage people are just still playing out less optimal routes
he could also do same combo but instead of cancelling heavy punch into blitz he could go into command dash after stand heavy punch and do the late followup attack that juggles into blitz+lvl3
@@pretzels7437 I think both Dee Jay and Guile are among the top 10 characters no doubt, really depends on your preferred play style too cause Guile can beat Dee Jay if you use his strengths and tools appropriately (but Dee Jay will deal with the trickier mix-up characters better imo). I'm learning Dee Jay a bit now myself, I main Zangief but play Guile and Chun-Li as secondaries. If you want to throw up a high wall of defensive measures and punish people for making mistakes Guile is your man. Dee Jay if you enjoy breaking down defense, baiting moves with feints for counters, and just harassing opponents on their wakeup with cross-ups/vortex and applying scary corner pressure Dee Jay is definitely it between the two. Although I think they are both really strong in general Dee Jay should be better since offense and mix-up heavy characters have the edge in this game utilizing the core mechanics.
Dee jays yellow hair gives me SF5 PTSD
which character
luke probably
POCKET SAND!

9:26 Du's not surviving the rhythm allegations
can you just react to his purple ball with level 2 at 9:23 or is that just a delayed input?
Ed looks great but he doesn't deal enough damage.. it seems crazy to me that a punish counter combo into lvl3 doesn't even do 50% 2:42
There are people out there doing 62% combos
That was the unoptimal because the lack of meter

Ik 2 modern combos that do around 50%
he could also do same combo but instead of cancelling heavy punch into blitz he could go into command dash after stand heavy punch and do the late followup attack that juggles into blitz+lvl3
Du playing Deejay? Has he always had one?
Proably just trying him out especially when you consider DJ is pretty much a better guile in this game
No he's learning him
@pretzels7437 in some aspects yeah, but I suspect he picked deejay because he is basically the speed of cammy and the power of guile combined
