- The weapons in Team Fortress 2 are iconic, but what if I didn't get to pick the items I use, or use items in the first place. Second Hand TF2 is a challenge in which you only use weapons dropped by other players.
While it didn't go the way I expected it was a fun challenge and pretty eye opening. If you think my win is illegitimate then like the video and I will play this challenge again live.

I still pick up other people's weapons even though I have my own cool weapons just for the psychological damage of getting killed with your own weapon
The first time I saw a weapon on the ground, I thought that if I picked it up I could keep it.
Needless to say, that’s not how it works.

this video was way more fun to watch than I care to admit
I did the same when I was playing as a soldier miner which was able to use only pickaxe and nothing more except for the moments when he finds a weapon.
I remember playing TF2 on my first days and picking up weapons dropped by my teammates. I wonder why I even did this now, because the stock weapons are the only weapons in the game.

love to see low subs TF2 channels gettin more love, great vid. is so funny watchin this because in old TF2 (im talkin about 2013) you wasn't able to pick up weapons from other players. The wep you had was the only thing youd carry, and when u unlocked a wep you used that everytime then u learn which wep was better ,etc. Ah... old times...

I think the video could be improved with a goal as well like getting 5 kills with each class or something along those lines
Honestly, that’s a great idea! That could even be used for an alternate way to do this. Second hand speed run, trying to get X kills on each class with other people’s weapons.

I'm happy you liked it. I use Premiere Pro but I've heard great things about Davinci. In Premiere it is just a key effect that makes it quick and simple.

@@GabrielTowsley-fm4rl The voice volume is quiet, and the game volume is quieter. That's the problem. It's not too quiet, but it's not as loud as I'd like it to be.

I've noticed that you have default lerp settings of 100 ms. That is painful to play I tell you. You may wanna give mastercomfig a try cuz it has lerps set to way lower values and it sure will boost your experience with the game.
Just in case u don't know lerp is just an inerpolation which used to smooth out gameplay by cost of latency. E.g. if you have your lerp at 100 ms then there's additional 100 ms latency before you can actually see some actions on you screen

I started playing before weapon drops were a thing is that really rare now?
It was something they added. Whenever a player dies they drop the weapon they were holding and then anyone can pick it up.
why not play spy if ur gonna use melee most of the time
I did play a couple rounds as Spy but it felt wrong since I can backstab with stock. Might try in the future but it’s just kind of a gray area I didn’t want to mess with.

Yeah this one was kind of a wash on the edit. 😅 I had several hours of me failing, so it got a bit jank. Definitely checkout my Spy or Sydney Sleeper videos for higher quality edits.

Why is you game so laggy, it's a 17 year old game. You don't need a super computer to run it. My previous PC had a 1080 (laptop version) and a i5 9300k with 8gb ram and it could run the game at 120+ fps.
