Kamuis hand would be two after draw phase, his current field has 2 front row rear guards and 1 back row rear guard behind his vanguard who is in rest due to zanbaku. Kyou has two cards and 2 cards in hand and 4 front row units 2 of which being grade 2s. I'm no pro(haven't even officially played yet😅) but based on the game state, kamui had 2 options besides the unlikely superior ride: 1- attack and retire his 2 arresters(which kyou likely COULD guard) and HOPE that not only that kyou not get another one of each but in addition that whatever is in his hand is enough to guard against 4 attacks with the vanguard having a twin drive. IF kamui survives AND he can stand or ride a new vanguard, he could win...with the small chance of kyou getting heal trigger... 2- use the rest of his hand and attempt to attack the vanguard and hope he can finish it, however kyou could just intercept with his arresters and guard with his remaining hand(and not worry about triggers) and then just win next turn with 1 attack... Basically, because he doesn't have gis drive check he can't really do anything except struggle in vain, the only hope for him to survive was a heal trigger in either his last turn(which we dont know what it was) and during is final damage check(which wasn't)...
They should unlock the original show. The original show in my opinion was the reason why so many people liked vanguard. This is good too but it feels kinda lackluster and the fact some things changed kinda confuses me especially with the whole imagination thing I was like “yo wtf is this?” And it kinda disappointed me but I know this is based of manga so I’m not really upset anymore
I mean imagination was always something they used, it's just that here it's a bit more...lively(idk) they still imagined the card fights, and them being the vanguard, but here it's used more since they don't have motion figure systems everywhere...

The guy in this episode didn’t have that ninja clan it was spike brothers. I don’t remember why they had to use the shock gloves in this reboot but the original didn’t have that. Rin and Aichi just sorta had a psychic bond and the change was a little more gradual to me. That’s what I remember
