That fight between Asaka and Ren was awesome, I knew that when Ren got serious, he proved that Psyqualia isn't everything. And now we wait for Kai to turn the tide against the Evil Psyqualia too.

(Spoiler for the episode) Man, when Ren brought out his Psyqualia, it felt like I watched a master swordsman unsheathing his sword after a long time of disuse (obviously exaggerated hyperbole, but still cool moment)
I think this is like the hundredth time someone has pulled and double trigger, ESPECIALLY ppl with PsyQualia, and tetsu’s still surprised even though he knows a lot of what PsyQualia can do
What I love about this episode is the fact that I get to see my own deck build being used by Ren Suzugamori. Never have I thought that I would see my own tactics used in a episode by one of my favorite characters.
@@BenedictPH it was more effective with stand triggers and units that can be used to call other units to the rearguard circle when attacking the vanguard. That way even if they guard you always had more attacks to strike with.

No considering the Image Kamui sees in the next episode, its more safe to assume Psyqualia shows you an image, and 99% of the time the user believes it to be their winning image. I like psyqualia Zombies more than reverse because they still have a genuine desire and memories. Reverse they just infect like a virus and no real desire.
Reverse was far more complex then that. They were much more themselves then you think while reversed (though their desires were pushed to extremes). Zombies just seem like unsuspecting puppets, which is sad. However I do like how this rebooted series explains stuff about Takuto. We kinda needed that.
The reverse characters did have desires. Asaka wanted to reverse Ren to be her puppet, Tetsu wanted to reverse Ren be a strong leader, and Kai wanted to push his powers further. Plus they got badass reverse units to signify that even their vanguard was corrupted.

Well Kouji in this version takes over the role of Kai from season 3 (being the pawn of Link Joker). As for Kai's well being he'll be fine so long as he can get his "eternal flames!" fix.
Because GBD crit is an auto when your units are retired, so when he overcalled the One Mac Lir over the other unit, it gained a crit then, then with both of them getting retired as cost for its attack skill, it gained the 2 crit there
