Sounds great man. Just got my 2019 SS, gotta put some miles on it then do a muffler delete and maybe a resonator delete too. Did your muffler shop make and shape these pipes themselves and weld it all together?
I had a shop cut my muffler off of my 2017 2SS and make custom straight pipes including the stock NPP valves. My car does Not sound like that. Mine is much louder then stock but it don't have the loud snaps and pops. Mine has a low Gurgle and mild pops. I think I'm going to have the shop remove the secondary cats in hope of getting more pop and snap sound. Next year full Corsa heads all the way back but it's still under warranty so I can't get the tune needed after the new headers.
You can make the car always be on track mode for the exhaust sound. You do it on the mylink. Go to car settings and you can make the cars exhaust always be in track no matter what your drive mode is. I have mine in track all the time!
Russ 392 tour is the drive mode so it will say that, but the exhaust can be set to change with the drive mode or be just in track for sound only. So it will say tour mode but the sound will be in track mode you can do the same with the steering wheel feel.
Fast Life Russ He must cut the 2 pipes before the differential, because the stock pipes are too much twisted , almost closed , tack a look for the pipes under the diff by your self. You have to change only about 1 feet of every pipe.
Idk if it’s the same for the 19s but for 16-18s the fuse is “F51” the valves will stay open in all the modes so the exhaust will flow right through the muffler.
Personally I wouldn’t have removed the dual mode muffler it flows extremely well and already sounds loud. If you would have had the single mode exhaust the one with just two single tips then doing the muffler delete would be worth it. Personally I don’t think it’s needed on the dual mode muffler equipped cars. You lose the dual mode option worth 1k.
Russ 392 my plan is to do headers and midsection but keep the stock muffler. The stock muffler has the dual mode sounds and will still flow everything you need.
Did you notice a big enough sound change? I would think the sound change would be negligible. Did you remove the mid mufflers? I would think those would make it change a lot more!

When i had my 18 ss and did a delete it threw a check engine light and reduced power. The dealer killed the codes after a new intake manifold and fuel pump but im leaving my 19 stock. I saw a few videos saying the engine need the back pressure from the muffler👨🔧🤦♂️
Also with out your muffler it won’t change tones anymore in any mode. The valves that quieted the exhaust down or made it louder we’re on the muffler so no muffler no change in sound

The valve is on the outside tips. Closing it will not make a noticeable sound difference but stock the outside pipe closes forcing the exhaust into the suitcase muffler and out of the inside tips.

yeah that wasn’t right. I think by law the dealer has to prove that your modification caused the failure. I’m about to get a 2020 ss. Hopefully the dealer doesn’t give me shit about the exhaust mods.
If they modify the exhaust system then you also have to have it on a dyno and someone to make your Camaro computer modifications for your computers adjust the change.

Yes it has the Active exhaust yea it still works once i put it in track mode it pops super crazy sport mode it pops but not like track
You will lose NPP functionality and need to tune out the CEL for the NPP Actuators.
