This guy is a true Shadow Foam artist.
With his attention to detail an the painstaking way he cuts out and removes the parts that r needed for the full effect.

Love the product, have used it in our drawers that we manufacter, but what cutters do you use to cut the foam on a CNC machine? I think it will speed up our process of cutting out the shapes (mainly shotguns) but i need to automate the process.

Looks very nice!! I would use LED strips to spread the light more evenly - right now the corners are a little less lighted. A box for the LED controller could be nicely cut into the back side of the foam. I would also leave a small hole in the wooden back - for if i need to take out the controller to replace batteries, etc.

Amazing work as always! There are a few things I suggest when doing the back lit ones, firstly is if using these lights an easy way to access the batteries. However personally I'd use LED lights in strips or a plate then all of it is equally lit up and you just need one accessible part for changing batteries etc.. Brilliant work! keep it up 👍

Really like how they have come out. Want to do something similar for my Ryobi tools so was glad you included that one, shame the green colour isn't quite right but the light up DeWalt one looks amazing! probably would use some led fairy lights or something in the back, the battery ones would takw a lot fewer batteries!

Great videos. Not quite sure how you assess the depths for the cut. Is there an opportunity to add a depth guage to your cutting knife. I am thinking of the foam to protect my carbon windfoils and wing foils which are quite susceptible to damage in transit. Thanks for videos

@@ShadowFoam There are tons on Ali Express if you dont mind the wait. They come in 12v or 5v but obviously you need a power source. They can be cut at various lengths and wires soldered to them to create multiple rows for even coverage. There is even a USB variety.
