  • We cut several trails to the creekside through thick brush and so many thorns. At the end of the day, we created some "Lovely places" to enjoy! All we need now are a few fire pits and we have the perfect campsites.

Your place looks a lot like my place. Can't wait to get started making my place look like your place. Just picked up a DR XD30, but it had a bad part that's now backordered. Hope to be up and running in about two weeks. Until then, I'm just stoked to see what yours is doing.

Thanks man! I love it! The place and the DR. I am excited for you getting your new one. Man it is rewarding seeing it begin to come together, but also overwhelming. We both know the job is never done. There is nothing like having some land to work. Good luck with everything and thanks for watching the channel.

Good job! Are you planning to go over this with your tractor at some point?

Thanks! That't the goal for sure. My hope is to make it wide enough so I can go backa and drag out fell trees.

Good video! Seems like if you had someone to follow you with a chainsaw it would be so much easier.

No doubt about that. Do they make cloning machines yet? I need 3 or 4 of me! LOL!

You have a tractor? I'm curious about the reasoning for not using it. Why would you buy that walk behind when there are flail mowers available that will cut 3 to 4 inch trees that are priced lower to slightly more than the DR? And there are rotary cutters that cost even less.

You have a better chance of seeing something that you DO NOT want to run over with this than a tractor. I just rented one of these, ( Billy Goat brand ), to cut tall grasses because I didn't know what was hidden in the grass.

@@awalker8112I disagree. I had written a too long reply but it simply boils down to this: Not my money. Not my problem. I simply was curious as to "why".

These easily go places a tractor can't. They're more maneuverable, narrower and portable.

with a tractor you have less ability t go through a narrow space. also unless the flail is front mounted the tractor has to drive over what you are cutting.
