This wasn't recorded in insolation in their own homes - they actually all camped out together in a barn in upstate new york for a month to write an record this album. They actually converted it into a studio for the recording. If I remember correct, only the vocals were recorded in Canada. The reason they're all isolated in the video is because their parts were all recorded individually and this wasn't a band one take performance.
