Try this trick.....When it says It says “failed to activate device with record” what should i do now?
Make sure your IPAD is connected to your PC while getting the above error. On the Locked screen try to swipe up and you will get the notification center and then click on camera and then click the home button. You will be able to get in the Homes Screen. Thats one way i was able to get in. :-) You will have to do it the same way after you restart. Waiting for the untethered method.
