Even now the most frequently asked question whilst making a purchase is “kitna deti hai?” Do you think the mindset of Indian consumers has changed over recent times or do you still believe MILEAGE over all other factors? What do you think?
yes it is.. it will remain... there are 2 reasons to.. The way India government behaves... to buy and MLAs cost of living may change anytime There is no rational on the fuel price... there is no limit.. recently we saw movement from 70 to 107 which was bought down to 96 ( delhi ).. we were made fool saying we reduced Rs. 11/-.. but the reality is it was increased for Rs. 26.. a car can we bought by delaying for a year or 2.. but once bought had to run for 10yrs... tht long run need to taken care considering above 2 points
@@amityadav83 absolutely... when the petrol price will shoot like crazy does anyone has any idea... will the income rise in the same way.. the answer is No... insurance companies keeps changing policies.. every year even after NCB the premium remains the same... cost of servicing keeps changing... government may change GST percentage any time with no rational... loan rates changes.. loan taken for 5yrs .. after paying for a year changes to 6yrs... happened recently due to rise in interest rate... if we go for sale.. kuch milta nahe hai.. thn what to do.. have to ensure tht we can run the car.. milage will be the factor... as ppl are able to purchase at the first time... but maintaining post tht it's a bigger questions...
Hello Tarun To begin with, you need to understand that TH is meant for off-roading Not for cruising So the figures are going to be comparatively lesser than any other compass Secondly, 15-16 on the highway is very good for a car that cost you upward of 30 lakh Find joy when you stare at the steering and see you’re driving a JEEP… To hell with everything else ❤️
On the highway, at speeds between 80-100 kmph, you can get a mileage of 15 km/l City mileage will obviously be considerably lesser due to constant stop and go! Hope this helps:)
Hi.. what you see is claimed mileage of petrol variants in the city Even for my diesel variant, in a city like Vizag I get 11.5-12, whereas in Bangalore I get only 9-9.5; Mileage figures are always better on the highways, and of course it depends on the speed and RPM consistency as well:)
Hi Pradeep Welcome to the Jeep family Petrol variant figures are normally lower than diesel variant figures But don’t worry Certain things I suggest: - shift gears under 2-2.5k rpm - maintain 80-100 on the highways - do not accelerate into the higher rpms - maintain recommended tyre pressures in all 4 tyres Hope this helps:) Do follow for more content:)
Hello Like I mentioned in other comments, it depends on your driving style and also multitude of factors Tire pressure Vehicle load Fuel used Traffic density But the bottom line remains, do not rev too hard and maintain economical speed :)
Please watch the video completely and thoroughly The only time the speed dropped was when I had to film the parameters and show it to you guys.. even then it had dropped only by 5-6kmph!! All other data is factual and accurate!!
Thank you for your response Although the correct way is to test mileage btwn 2 empty tanks, I did not want to take that chance And this method is the best there is without having to worry about being stranded 😅
We had initially got 19@25kms mark.. so had we got a clear stretch and continued for a long while I’m sure we would’ve gotten better figures But I guess on Indian roads, anything above 20 is great 😅

Kitna deti hai is still the important consideration

This is not the way to measure kmpl. This will not be the case with the average mileage from one point to another.

Hi Pradeep
Welcome to the Jeep family
Petrol variant figures are normally lower than diesel variant figures
But don’t worry
Certain things I suggest:
- shift gears under 2-2.5k rpm
- maintain 80-100 on the highways
- do not accelerate into the higher rpms
- maintain recommended tyre pressures in all 4 tyres

Hello
Like I mentioned in other comments, it depends on your driving style and also multitude of factors
Tire pressure
Vehicle load
Fuel used
Traffic density
But the bottom line remains, do not rev too hard and maintain economical speed :)
On speedometer, the speed does not match your claimed speed
Please watch the video completely and thoroughly

Not the right way. Display will lie.
Thank you for your response

I got upto 21.1 kmpl at highway @100 kmph.
We had initially got 19@25kms mark.. so had we got a clear stretch and continued for a long while I’m sure we would’ve gotten better figures
