    Pretty epic. A Great stop on my journey. I’m on a background search through if it’s possible to potentially host any kind of server on a phone and connect to its ip, and this certainly was interesting to start. Thanks, following on git and subscribing.

    Why not turn a mobile phone to a productive ip server with nodes and express?

    Do you ever share the script for copying the files automatically? Do u set up a cron job on the phone?

      Nope, it most likely works only when the server is on and to get access to the images u must search it to connect to the sever through the browser and I believe anyone can connect to this guy's one and steal his images because it has no safe features 😂.

      Thanks! I found out there was this app on Android that enabled Node.js execution. Thought it would be cool to turn my phone into a static server LMAO

    Can you turn a old phone, Galaxy 9 note and a external terabyte hard drive into a Bitcoin node? 🤔

    • @pmxi
      @pmxi 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you could, but I a phone will definitely not mine any useful amount of Bitcoin

    • @Jaytraveler2
      @Jaytraveler2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pmxi I'm not trying to mind Bitcoin, I'm just trying to support the network, my understanding is a Bitcoin node simply verifies transactions and in the process takes a few satoshis or it can hop transactions to another node on the lightning Network 🤓🤔

    Also can this work within a mobile app

    • @Cactoo
      @Cactoo 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think yes, you can develop apps with react native so you can basically import the modules needed. Alternatively, you can also use the native languages and import the http modules. If you are working with python, there are also modules for that. You can compile it to apk, exe, etc. with libraries too
