Should it be - It is on the table (as a general statement ,applying the rule for surfaces ); or It is at the end of the table (if we are more specific and applying the rule for specific place) . Just one observation: Also, we use IN for countries and States. Made in Brazil, Made in England; living in the state of New York, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, etc, right?
Richard Liloc "I am on 5th Avenue" is the correct preposition. 5th Avenue is the name of a street in New York, but it is not an exact address. Therefore we use "on" If it was an exact address, then we use "at" -- Example "The British Prime Minister lives AT 10 Downing Street, London."
