its so amazing hearing Tara Strong in early roles because her real voice became so raspy and mature once she grew up and became a household name in the voice acting world.

Its a shame King Koopa had to ruin everything, it seemed like Hip and Hop could’ve actually been reformed koopas- they never really had any ill intentions

Okay, to my say about this episode. Screw you Oogard, Yoshi, Peach.
To start off, Oogard and Yoshi are one of the biggest pricks in this episode. They sit there and pick on both Hip and Hop , for NO REASON. I could understand if they did a bunch of really bad stuff, but Hip and Hop did nothing wrong. All they wanted was to go to school and learn, and they get punished for it ? That is inexcusable! Oogard and Yoshi are also really big bullies to the koopalings( yet they are supposed to be heros). To start off , they trick both hip and hop into chewing gum in class, which winds up making a big mess, Princess Toadstool , immediately scolds them for that, and yet she doesn't give hip and hop the chance to explain what happened. Another example is when Yoshi sticks out his tongue ( at the command of Oogard) and deliberatly causes Hop to fall into their project , practically ruining it.. Another thing about Oogar, is his little mouth, I personally wanted to slap him after he muttered at princess toadstool like that. The only thing I can say about both oogar and yoshi is that they are nothing more than bullies in this episode, and I can't stand eather of them.
Now I'm going to move on too Peach ( Toadstool) . She really is one of the worst teachers I have ever seen in my life. She scolds both hip and hop for something they didn't do , and doesn't even punish yoshi and Oogar for what they did to hip and hop.. Seriously, any teacher ( the good ones at least) would try and listen to both sides of the story before jumping to conclusions. Now, the main thing I hated about this episode was the ending. Toadstool I want to literally slap you across the face right now. She expels Hip and Hop FOR NOTHING. The volcano incident was just an accident. Neither of the koopas had any rash intentions when they made that volcano. It was the actions of Bowser that caused that . And yet she still expells them. What the crap.
Sorry if I got to deep into this people, I just really hate character abuse in an episode. Hip and Hop did nothing wrong in this episode, and yet they still got punished for it in the long run. Now, before any of you sit there and try and say that Hip and Hop where no better, take into consideration this. Yoshi and Oogar bullied hip and hop, They knew what they where doing was wrong, And they didn't care. Toadstool also expelled them for an accident , and scolded them for the wrong reasons. I'm not going to go into Bowser, but he was just a freakin prick to his sons , that is all I have to say. This episode sucked, the charicters sucked ( minus hip and hop) , and the abuse level was on overdive. Nothing more to be said.

+Adrian Boskovic I was just about to say, while you could argue that what they were doing was just payback for what Oogtar and Yoshi were doing, it was disproportionate retribution, getting them slightly in trouble for chewing gum doesn't really justify throwing fireballs at them, that could get them seriously hurt, but on the other hand, you do have a point that they might not fully realize this given that they live in a place where this is common.
Yeah, but you can't really use things a character has done in a previous episode to justify mal treatment towards them in another, so the same standard generally applies for things that happened in a video game.

Technically, the makers of this cartoon were going by the Japanese versions Super Mario 3 and Super Mario World in which the Koopa kids didn't have names yet.

NessLover94 Personally, I really can't stand Yoshi and Andy in this episode. They both sit there and gang up on hip and hop ( Iggy and Lemmy) for no reason. To add insult to injury, they ( repeatedly) got hip and hop in trouble when they did nothing at all. Anyway, when I watched this episode, I truly felt that Hip and Hop where compleatly justified. Also , I am not a huge fan of the heros in the show , just the villians.

Why do hip and hop finishing there sentence
The show was extremely low budget and had to adapt paper thin "personalities" from then-one off video game appearances into a narrative. So they spent 2 minutes and 15 seconds thinking up stereotypical personas for each of the kids. Lemmy and Iggy are twins so they obviously finish each other's sentences.
