At first I thought this would be confusing to explain but I was able to follow you very easily. I think because it was comprehensive and everything was given much thought. Great lessons; this one and the first one!.. THANKS!
Thank you. You saved my life with this as I bought Microsoft courses on the internet but the course related to group policies were expired. Thank you for your work in here.
Great videos. Clear explanations. Your pacing is very good. Clear audio and clearly spoken. I have noticed that many videos, others included, fail miserably when using a "descriptive name" for a GPO. I think a truly descriptive name would in fact help a lot with understanding how GPOs work. Names like "Test" or "TestGPO" do not help. I strongly appreciate the deliberate and steady process of your lessons. Extremely well done. THANK YOU
Hi Steve, many thanks for your kind comments and for taking the time to give your thoughts and feedback about the videos. much appreciated. All the best Jon
Mr I t taster , you have done a great job on your lessons over these subjects widening people's mind. I am a big fan your lessons. by watching your videos , i have developed more sense of what i am doing. brilliant job. and Thank you so much for such wonderful lessons. i have subscribed and liked as well.

Very well said tmdpc "Very well done, John. Informative and easy to understand. Liked and subscribed!" Brilliant work, watched over and over again now i am comfortable with GPO's. subscribed and liked too. Thanks
this is a big help, but can you help me, as the the gpo that ive applied , didnt have any effect to users who log on to the domain. even after i enforce the gpo. Did i miss any step>?or is it on the network level itself?
And while iam at it..any tips on the password policy? After toying with it .. (the complexcity,etc2) ..our user cant change their password (ctrl alt del) . Previously ...it was ok..btw..the password complexicity is set to disable
Check out my video on passwords and account policies it might be of help. There are a number of polices related to passwords. Also check the user in ad users and computers, user cannot change password may be checked.
Might be worth trying gpedit /force on the client pc. If it's a computer policy, it's worth trying a reboot of the client pc. Also check event logs for an underlying issue.
Hi, I don't have an Exchange tutorial at the moment, but I may cover it at some point in the future. Possibly more Office 365 based. Thanks for your comment
Hi, thanks for your kind comments! Files are controlled by NTFS permissions in Windows. For a user to copy a file, they need to be able to modify the file, but that means they can also open it. You possibly need to look at file encryption which may be closer to what you are looking for.
Hi, is there any video illustration for it so that we can learn it, I tried it using information from Internet but it did not worked. I am sure there is some very small issue or error due to which it did not worked. Also share ur email address do that I can share GPO applied in HTML format
dhnvks1 Hi, unfortunately I don't have a video that cover the specific issue you describe. It's worth checking the policy by running gpresult to see if that gives you any pointers.
can u share the procedure to create it and sent it to my email address: dhnvks@gmail.com or create a video and post it as it will be helpful to many in future
