Thanks Pastor Bill. I wasn't sure about the green ground going to the third slot or the separate ground screw on the right. I changed back to your way. thanks!
Hi Pastor Bill! Does the unit circulate air good being so close to the floor? I watched a bunch of installs, and they mounted it mainly closer to the ceiling. Occasionally mid level. Thanks for the video. Take care!
Enjoyed the video. I've recently found myself watching these videos as I've installed a couple mini splits in the last couple of weeks. Generally your methods were good. The only thing I would suggest was when you removed the vacuum pump, you should have released the refrigerant 1st. That would have put that into the lines, and a minimal amount would have escaped when you pulled the pump. The directions I've had say to open the 2 way valve 1st and then only a quarter turn for 5 seconds... close it and check for leaks on the lineset before opening them fully. I suspect your unit will run fine for years!
Thank you Doug for the comments. I was told by several of my HVAC friends that The Schrader valve shuts off before the vacuum releases in the testing hoses as you disconnect them. That was a question I brought up when I first did my first vacuum years ago. Thanks

I see what your saying, I was told that it’s impossible to pull a vacuum down to below 500 microns if you have a leak. Once you release the refrigerant, it’s too late and soap water doesn’t bubble on the vacuum lines only on pressure lines.
It’s the cheapest one on eBay, I’m not sure if it ramps up or not as a option or if it coverts to DC current. It works great and only takes 7amps of 110 volts.
