If you live in the present all the time, if your daily thoughts revolve around the divine 24/7, and take a few moments to quiet your mind, you already are in meditation all day and all night long! No need for anything else! It's that simple!

Thanks Ben. You’re a great teacher. This is exactly what I needed and it was obviously divinely inspired. I’ve been not experiencing usual visions or feelings are bliss lately and I thought that I was doing something wrong so this is actually helping me so much.🙏

A mystic experience can be terrifying and life altering if you are not prepared.
I would always ask God to give me what I need , in divine timing, to come even one step closer to Him.

I've had a spiritual awakening-now every tree appears as a guardian spirit. I feel total peace just talking with my trees outside in our piazza with my two dogs. I know I'm feeling the inner peace because I know feel that we are one. I feel the source-this energy is bliss!! Now, in meditation I feel the kundalini spiraling up through my body, I hope to speak to my higher self.

It is true, Balancing desire and attachment is very useful. It's practicing the virtue of balance itself. In my own life I aspire to become a professional singer and actor, I have a long way to go but walking the path has taught me to slow my ambition and aspiration down and just enjoy every moment you have. Whenever I do something that's musically related or I'm invited do something acting related I'm able to savour it that much more. And in the end the process itself is still the most beautiful experience, not the end goal. Seeing yourself change, seeing yourself develop, feeling certain triggers in your ego not being there anymore is marvelous thing to be able to witness.

I would have tripped up in a rabbit hole at some point filming this 😂 - on a serious note, I’ve stuck with meditation for a couple of years now and have had a few mind blowing experiences but there was a long period of nothing where I nearly stopped… keep going ❤

Thanks very much. My understanding is that buddhism has a more negative view towards desire as many human beings tend to attach to their desires.
The paradox of desire points to the fact that one’s desire to rid of all desires is also a desire.
It’s the nature of attachment and unwillingness to let go that is dangerous.

This has been super insightful. From my experience as a seeker, I totally agree that many folks are looking to experience some sort of high from their spiritual journey, and don’t connect what they are going through to the greater good.

I use the school of you tube. I seem to focus on 2 or 3 and after a while, let them go. I do find some voices do not resonate with me. 🤔 that is one of my red flags. I wish i find & meet a local person. ❤ for now i am binge watching your videos 😂

If Buddha had no desire for nirvana he would not have achieved awakening. Buddhists discuss having skillful desire, desire that puts an end to suffering and aspiring to free others.

Thank you Ben, very much! I needed your reminder to not get attached to the experiences I have been fortunate to have. I was tending to regard a single day’s meditation as a failure if it wasn’t as ‘good’ as ones I’d had previously. You have put me back on the path 🙏

I love the nature walk backdrop. Same shirt though. I get it. Haha. Anyway, these was a super informative video that I hope a lot of seekers will find. I prefer to call myself a discoverer instead of a seeker now. I am discovering meditation and God in many ways. Thank you, Guru Ben.

I am spamming you vids with comments because I crossed the first line intentionally today. My body melted with reality, I was levitating and falling into nothingness. It wasn't nice. It was a challenge. So, I had questions. I got your channel on my main page right after I opened YT. It gets too simple sometimes. I am fine already, thank you btw. I have all those experiences since childhood. I needed your guidance at this point. The Universe is helping in many dimensions but everyone must go there alone. It is like learning riding a bike. One of sudden it feels like a part of you but only looked impossible. We are alive and rules are the same for everyone. Like a chick one must get out of the egg alone. Every dimension is simply another egg to get out of it. You are allowed to get everywhere as long as you grow enough. I see bright lights popping randomly. I was afraid of that. Now I want to explore it. Of course they disappeared the moment I started to desire them :) No problem, I will wait. Last thing. I here a sound when I fall asleep. It sounds like a light switch. Imagine that :)

If you're meditating a lot and having zero profound experiences....there's always mushrooms lol, and you don't have to take a lot. Even just a gram, or even far less to start, and they really can give you a boost. You don't need them very often. I seem them as more spiritually neutral, so it does depend on your intention. Having done them a few times this year without any prior meditation experience, I will admit that they made meditation seem entirely pointless. I was quieting the mind and seeing colors when completely sober, but I was like, what is the point??? I'm not thinking or having insights. I just have insights in general because my mind doesn't race all the time, and my brain has already been re-wired to an extent to have a totally different outlook on life after mushrooms. I'm talking about the heart/mind connection.However...with patience, I would rather have profound experiences through meditation without the shrooms. They hand you spirituality on a platter, but it's up to you where you go from there after the trips, and I've decided to keep going.
